Hi everyone I am new on here, I live in Cornwall and have supported Rochdale since I was 11 until moving to Cornwall I went home and away every week and used to do a goldbond round for peter. I go to as many away games as possible but due to work struggle to get to the coa as much as I would like. I have just seen the ticket arrangements for next Wednesday and am worried that I won't get a ticket for myself and daughter as I can't just pop up and get them. Can anyone help me please I am fesperate |

I'm glad I don't work there. Every single thing is criticised, if you can't get there thurs fri, ring up Saturday , I'm sure they will put more resources into that. There are 7500 tickets, there will be loads left on Sunday |

So season ticket holders buying the 1st tickets sit in the corner and general sale start going nearer to the halfway line?
I remember this happening at our playoff game many years ago at rushden and diamonds. Season ticket holders were sat near the corner flag and general sale were right behind the goals. |  |

The late night/no Saturday in person sales thing is really, really strange. They’re almost forcing themselves to deal with more calls than necessary.
The allocation is fair, the process in selling them needs looking at closely. |
No beef with the allocation, except for the original Lama's observation on p1 that he, as a loyal ST holder, is being penalised vs a general sale buyer, which makes as much sense as a chocolate fireguard.
The sales strategy, though, almost couldn't be more inconvenient if it tried. It eliminates anyone who works during the day from buying and funnels them into a telesales bottleneck which the club will make a MINT from. It prevents groups sitting together. It is almost as if the club brainstormed "how can we make this as customer unfriendly as possible for our most important core ST holders". Then they put that version on the website. I contacted the club via phone before for clarification on this. They weren't sure and said they would have to get back to me.
I can't get a family package so my son, brother and his lad can can go because I don't have TWO ADULT season tickets but do have one adult and a child season ticket. That to me sounds very harsh when ONE person can get a family package on general sale. |  |

Thursday and Friday evening sales at the club are not going to finish at five. If there are queues like last time, you can add at least an hour onto that. Unless they shut the doors at five which wouldn't surprise me. |  |

A man who bought his ticket for the first game on the phone, using that number. The club isn't geared up for this, and 99% of the time it doesn't need to be. They took on board the issue of one ticket per ST, and changed it. You can't please everyone, and I am sure we won't sell 7500 tickets, wait till next week get some near the half way line |  |

Given that you've made bookings, your best bet to guarantee getting inside Wembley would be to book tickets online for the home sections. Not had a look, but one of our Spurs friends might be able to advise? |  |

Email the club, I'm sure they will be able to sort something out.
I personally don't expect us to sell anywhere near 7,500 but as previously mentioned, would love to be proven wrong on that score. |  |

I spent two hours trying to get through and eventually went and queued at the ticket office. This time that option is no longer available.
No on-line, no queues, just the phone on Saturday. How many people answering it? How many lines? How long per call to process a transaction? How many want tickets? It's going to get messy

The club is making a fortune on this number, you would hope the reason for no in person sales, is to allow maximum staffing of phones on Saturday. My original point was that the club gets criticised whatever they come up with, and I'm glad I don't work there, not a justification for premium rate calls. I'm glad you are 'sorted'

I also agree with your point that they can't please all of the people all of the time, but I suspect if you put up a poll about those happy with this and those not, it would at least be split.
In my estimation, I would guess there would be more in the unhappy camp, unless we have more single or couples pensioners who live close to the ground and want to go on their own than I thought. | |
