So for us the recent drop off in form and the consequential results achieved are disappointing.
But for the York fans they must be happy to be 2 points ahead basically requiring 1 draw from their next 2 games and a win against Dale to win the league.
However if it comes to that final game decider memories of last years failure in the play offs will certainly come to mind for them.
Come April 25th momentum and everything else goes out of the window ..it’s who can deliver on that day over 90 Mins .

Seen quite a lot of digs on twitter and their forum about our recent crowds. Didn't they used to get 2-3,000 at their old ground just a few years ago?

The York Stadium Management Company, who are in charge of the day-to-day running of the LNER Community Stadium, have reiterated that the banning order has come from the football club. And York City Supporters’ Trust has said they are now working with the football club to address these bans."

It’s entirely possible, we need to do our bit and make sure that doesn’t happen!

We deserve a final game fitting of two teams that have done their best and more this season. It would be a shame to let the last day become a nothing game. So three points tomorrow at all costs Jim please - the team are more than capable. No pressure.

It’s going to be tough mentally for York after that. They thought they’d got it won, now they have to win it all over again. Plus I think it’s always dangerous playing when in the back of your mind you think a draw will be enough. The ‘Dale know only a win will do so they have to go for it.

Did I hear a York city player say nine minutes, as in shock we had been given nine minutes injury time, this from team that had nine minutes injury time, more then once this season. Did they not score in the 99th minute at Morecambe to win, but they did looked peeved that we scored to win the game. I wonder how the fans reacted, having thought they had won promotion, only to find we scored a winner.
Next Saturday, we know we have to win and we can't play for a draw, it will be nerve wracking to say the least.
