Sat with Blood PRESSURE MONITOR ON MY ARM
What the hell are they trying to do to an old man
Don't know how next week will be when I am having a well earned break out of the Country

What's the reading?

Listening to BBC Radio York they were celebrating and are now saying how deflated they all feel. It's Dale who should be on the High. Let's be positive!!!

From the outside you'd think so with these sort of late goals, I just cant help bit think we've rode our fair share of luck out before the final game... who knows but done well to take it this far, is it just one step too far is my concern

Watching the Dale is not good for your health at the moment, at 1-1 in the 96th minute, I had become depressed, but in the 99th I was elated.

Frightening to feel that it was all over against a team that’s scored 37 goals and won 8 games all season! We’ve been lucky over the last two months and hopefully our luck hasn’t run out going into the last game.

Over the last two months, teams have had a go at us and that’s where we’ve either fallen short or just got over the line. York will absolutely get at us from minute one, next week so we can’t afford to give anything away!

I think Hendo must start!

We didn’t hold on. We played so poorly in an open game. Constantly choosing the wrong option when attacking. Best summed up by Mani’s part in their goal.

To see people blaming the manager and then to see what happened sums it up. Make no mistake, forget performances, York feel like sh&t now. One game shoot out for a league championship.

This will be one of the greatest seasons in Rochdale’s history. No matter how it ends.

As everyone feels we have stumbled through the last few weeks to still be in with a shout

Never mind Fergie time. That was Yorkie time....they've scored enough in the 95+ minutes. Onto a packed COA. The owners deserve that.

Food for thought against a poor team in a game we needed to win, we really didn't manage it well. But...IDGAF right now.

“No matter how it ends”?

We’ve been promoted to league one and knocked Leeds United out of the FA cup in the same season.

That might have been a good season.

Anyone can compare. But if you want to, find an ending to the season like this one.

I threw down my tablet when they equalized in a fit of temper. My wife said I had a face like a bulldog licking piss off a nettle.

I stomped around the house feeling like sh*t.

I thought, well let's check on the score to compound my misery.

WTF

Ran round the house like a bulldog with a firework up it's arse

Just seen footage of the York players in a huddle waiting for the result from Braintree.
Similar to the Charlton game at Spotland eight years ago.

Not gonna lie, I got up and went to the chippy after their equaliser, I never even considered a winning goal, I've never done that before whether at a game or on tv, for me it was the dreadful way we trued to see out the game, it was terrible, no game management at all, and lazy passing, Manis pass to Hendo for their goal, summed it all up, and I just did not want to watch it end that way.
Next week is going to be both amazing and awful at the same time, being in the moment will be amazing, watching the game will be an awful experience l, and it shouldn't be, but how do you enjoy it?

Frig me it looks like we have just lost reading some of these comments on this thread. We are going to win next week you can just feel it. This team never give up and find a way. York will be the ones under huge pressure now and we will see if they can handle it in front of a packed spotland stadium.

I turned off, put my trainers on and went for a walk without my phone on 96 minutes.
Struggled health wise of late and trying to keep stress free, so thought it for the best.
Came back home, down but trying to be optimistic about the playoffs and wondering if I could stomach next week's guard of honour.
Had lost my appetite but forced my tea down, resigned but forcing a smile when explaining to my youngest about the joys of watching Rochdale for 40 odd years.
Decided on no social media and settled down to watch ' The Princess Bride' again....the Mrs favourite film and as she's running tomorrows marathon and had to put up with me, her choice......
Phone beeps...thinks it's my Oldham supporting mate commiserating/rubbing it in.
It is, except message begins...you jammy b@£#rds.....well you can imagine my evening has taken a turn for the better.
You really, really do have to think , that some things are written in the stars

At one all the thought of a packed Crown oil arena next week having to give York a guard of honour onto the pitch was my immediate reaction..but yet again we snatch victory from the jaws of a draw…a long way back from Braintree for players and fans ..a day they will never forget

Next week will be brilliant. Unfortunately I don't have a ticket so will miss only the game. I'm now an exile so will watch on DAZN.

No matter what happens this season has been far more than I expected. I came to quite a lot of games home and away last season and to be honest thought we were gash.

This season has been fewer games, due to financial restrictions, but the ones I've attended have shown a different team and ethos. DAZN has been on whenever I can hut next week I'll be watching with fingers crossed and bumhole stitched up
