Heres one for you then.

If we still suck in January and we are pretty much nailed on to go down (lets be honest, its a possibility), would you sell in the transfer window to get top coin, or would you hold and take the risk of losing on the cheap?

Because he will be a Championship player and the owners will be thinking of making sure they can cover the loss of income best they can. Hes our biggest financial asset on the playing staff

Didn't Sissoko go for 30m + ? no such thing as cheap these days.

Leroy Fer though can f*ck off to whoever he wants too!

How much did Newcastle sell Sissoko and Wijnaldum for?

If we had a competent man in charge of dealing with transfers we could still recieve a fair fee in The Championship.

Newcastle managed to take £30,000,000 for the 27 year old Sissoko.

Newcastle are in a very different financial situation to us. Ashley makes it up as he goes along. Hes invested, ours havent, to date at least. They wont want the risk.

A player of Siggy's quality doesn't devalue if we get relegated.

Sell our talisman? Loopy suggestion.

Siggys body language has been all wrong all season for me, I think he felt conned into signing a new deal and the club never matched his ambition. Expect his agent to be phoning around for a move in January .

So how much do you reckon clubs would offer for him at the end of the season then if he carries on the way he has and the worst happens for us?

Other clubs know what he is about and what he is capable of. We'd get bottom dollar.

Yes he does. He would want to go and we would want him off our wage bill.

It hasn't come to that yet. We could easily nick a few results against the weaker teams

No idea, however much we accept for him probably. But if there's any mathematical chance we can stay up come january then we certainly don't want to sell him. Even off form he's still one of our best players

Yeah there are, although it doesn't feel like it and the table doesn't reflect it.

Despite getting one point from Hull and Watford at home, we were the better team in both games. I'd say Hull, Sunderland, Boro and Burnley are weaker, there are a couple like Watford, Bournemouth, West Brom who aren't much better than us.

They all probably have better managers though

Anyone notice that Mawson a young lad scores an OG, not one Swansea player is over to him to get his head up.

Thank you, goodnight and bollocks

By all accounts Alfie s a leader so he wouldn't want that. If he did then he's in the wrong job, it could also be that the other players thought he was a right plum for booting into his net when it's easier to clear.

Alfie talks the talk but has failed to walk the walk, maybe a few senior players thought he.needed that dose of humble pie?

Decent prospect, will come in handy next season in the championship, it is after all what our recruitment drive seems to be about ,preparing us for the next level..down.

"Failed to walk the walk" - people were lambasted for showing too much faith in him after one good game, now he's had one bad game (despite belief he wasn't awful), and your stating he's failed. How about we just see how he does over the course of the season??
