Where would we be without Sigurdsson? 19:45 - Feb 5 with 3328 viewsHeadmaster

The man's immense. Hope to god he doesn't get injured anytime soon, we need him if we are to survive.

I see people slagging him off on here and it makes me a little embarrassed to share a club with these idiots.

Poll: Can’t see the new guy coming in to sit on the bench so, who’s off?

Relegated for sure.

He singlehandedly saved us from going down last season. I seriously lost count of all the match winners and equalizers he scored for us. It was a heroic and valiant performance in football if I've ever seen one--he put this team on his back and carried it like his life depended on it. And now this season he's doing the exact same thing again. Hopefully the outcome is again the same.

We were without him for almost the first half of the season, while he was still on the field none the less

Yes he's playing well, which he's capable of more often than happens, but this is a team rescue mission, not a lone soldier act.

The team as a whole have been turned around, Gylfi is a part of that.

No Sigi did not "Single handidly save us last season, are you forgetting Ayew's 12 goal contribution?
You are also forgetting LLorente's 8 goal contribution this season as well.
Sigi has been improving and getting back to his best and is currently what makes the side tick, but it is also a Team effort.
PC is finally undoing the chaos that BB did to the Team and the players, long may it continue.

Apart from a few notable exceptions is there anyone over the age of 16 on this thread?

He's playing well at the moment, or at least chipping in with goals and assists but he's been.very poor for a lot of the season with a very poor attitude.
