OUT WITH A DEAL EATING OUR CAKE AND LOVING IT suck it up remoaners
And like a typical anti democracy remoaner he decided the will of the people should be ignored the minute the democratic result was in total fecking hypocrite 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Despite it being voted in to law by the commons the spineless two faced remoaner MPs have totally abandoned any morals and decided to ignore the will of the British people.
It will be remembered and no election or referendum will ever be the same again in this country.
The one thing that will come is a massive surge in the popularity of UKIP or a similar party in the future who stand for the 52%.
Happy Days.

Johnson now admits something only the clinically insane or in extreme denial were arguing otherwise, that No Deal will mean a border and checks in Ireland, and no amount of fictional technology will mean otherwise.

But David Davis said there was technology to sort this? Bloody EU.
Those who know about such things were always arguing that any such tech was "10 years away". Which, for anyone who's ever been involved in the technology sector, will know that means the equivalent of the moon on a stick.

It's the Yanks who decides whoi gets the Five Eyes info not the UK. Additionally Germany are part of SIGINT Seniors Europe, also called Fourteen Eyes.
Please stop talking crap.
How long do you think it will take the Yanks to realise what a security risk that setup will be and change it to only 4 eyes, cutting the UK and EU out all together.

I thought the GFA meant there shouldn’t be a border between NI and ROI. If it kicks off out there, I suspect that we can kiss any trade deal with the US goodbye because factions in both the Democratic and Republican parties have said they would block any attempts to introduce one.

They won't, as that then means they lose UK intelligence. It's not a one way stream.

Indeed. We're just ignoring that though, cos Trump said he can do it without congressional approval. A bit like Johnson saying can force through No Deal even if the law is against him.

It does not need to kick off. If there is a hard border anywhere on the island of Ireland, then there will not be a new trade deal with the USA. Fact. ☘ï¸ðŸ‡ºðŸ‡¸

They love the idea of a border so much, they’ve seemingly decided that they’re going to have two.
You have to laugh.

It’s almost as if the outcome could have been anticipated. Oh wait. It was...
It’s been so obvious that May’s deal is the only deal. It’s also been obvious for a while that the backstop tweak will be NI only (the EU’s preference from the start).
The only question will be whether Labour add either a customs union or a second referendum to the deal before backing it. One way or neutralising Farage is bring back the deal, add a referendum (don’t call an election until afterwards). The question will be deal or remain. If remain, revoke (nothing in the world Farage will be able to do) if deal, sign deal (nothing in world Farage will be able to do). I suspect he would then avoid an election until after the event.
Ok. So now we know,
The backstop ‘solution’ is NI only, as anticipated, but slightly strangely, rather than customs union, the proposal is for NU to effectively remain part of the single market, leading to a border with both Ireland and the rest of the UK. A border that will be done by technology that doesn’t exist, and away from the border. (Is it only staunch Tories that think you can remove a border by moving a border)?
Only the DUP have a veto every 4 years if Stormont sits and have been given a whole load of stuff again, so they’ve decided they’ll support (unsurprisingly). That won’t irritate the other communities in Northern Ireland at all, of course. The ERG will support since they don’t care at all about NI and they’ve decided their other concerns about May’s deal were temporary after all.
But the EU will have to agree to Arlene Foster’s merry band of bigots having a crucial role, Stormont isn’t even sitting and hasn’t for 3 years, the rest of May’s deal remains unchanged which everyone previously hated, and Ireland will just love it. As an aside, if Stormont doesn’t sit, the plan refers to ‘another way’ of gaining public support for it continuing. Eg. Presumably, a referendum...
I’m thinking it doesn’t have much chance of success...

”Arlene Foster’s merry band of bigots.”
It was only last night you were posting how dangerous it is in the current climate to be deliberately insulting of your political opponents, criticising those you thought were inflaming an already febrile atmosphere.
Come along now.

Umm, I’m not being funny Loh, but I think there’s quite the difference between the PM, Home Secretary, any MP for that matter using that sort of language and a random person on a Swans forum. I haven’t suggested any normal person is inflaming anything. No posts on here would stay if we extended the careful speech to this forum

Not a lot of my late night posting this past ten years would have made it beyond the censor, I wouldn’t argue with you there.
