Montero would probably play about 7-8 games may be a couple off the bench, have a good start to the season, may be create 1 or 2 goals at most then pull a hamstring & be out for the rest of the season.

Borja on the other hand is someone who I'd like back for at least half a season whether it be in the Championship or here. He was awful after Guidolin left but considering this was under the tutoring of His Bradness and Paul Defencement I'd wish to think that, much like Sanches, all he needs is a defined role. I'd take Mo phuckin Barrow back right now and certainly Montero and just play him til he gets injured (not long) but he's different from what we have now and if and it's a big if he's the type of player who makes things happen.

Montero probably as an impact sub. He should never be starting consistently for us. Yes, he had good games against Arsenal and Chelsea once, but he is not a team player and has very little end product. He gives our fullback a lot more trouble than the oppositions most games.
Baston, really not sure. He’d have to toughen up, even if we played him alongside someone, especially if he was up front on his own. Playing in a front 3 in a free flowing Spanish team is totally different to battling two centre backs for scraps. Tammy is struggling with it, Borja wouldn’t have a chance. | | | |
