I've just paid around £34 for 3 licenses for 12 months but it would have worked out cheaper per year if I'd signed up for longer. They offer a free trial as well. Edit: can't download link but just Google Eset [Post edited 21 Feb 2018 19:08]

My renewal with Norton is £79.99, thought it was a bit steep.

If your running Windows, it come with Windows defender, together with something like CC cleaner you should be good to go.Thats what we use on our laptop with no issues at all. AVG is good, but haven't used it for a while. I'm sure the techies out there will be horrified, but it works for us👠
Advice needed please on 19:20 - Feb 21 with 3063 views | swanforthemoney | For many years I've used AVG free virus checker and Zonealarm free firewall. Also turn on the Windows firewall. I've had few if any problems over the years with this set up. So far, I hope I'm not tempting fate. However, I only access sites that are pretty legitimate, and get emails in general from legitimate known sources and I am careful not to open ones that might be dubious. If I was accessing sites which might be more likely to be harbouring malware, i might review this strategy.

The best PC security is your brain. Don't go to silly websites, or open unkown attachments and you'll be golden. Windows protection is enough for the odd dodgy file every 6 months or so but even that's a false positive 50% of the time.

Windows Defender may be disabled by your current AV set up, but it's easy to enable, when you want it.👠

Aye. Barclays used to offer free full Kaspersky if you used to use Internet banking. Not sure if they're offering anything at the mo as they've stopped using Kaspersky (Russians and the fear of them!)
