Crowdfunding for a very brave little Swansea Girl 17:34 - May 31 with 12332 viewsjack_lord

I have asked one of the members of her close family if I can post this on here for a very brave little girl who has terminal cancer.
She has had battle after battle with her illness since she a baby and the family has recently been told the devastating news that there is no cure.
This forum has many hits and even if a small percentage could give a pound then fantastic.

Looks like they're up to 29% of the target.

Come on all of you that haven't donated, just a small amount from each person and they can start planning this little girl's holiday.

That's right. You can donate what you want and not just the amounts shown and also hide it. Every penny helps.
I don't know Demi but as a friend of her Grandmother (that makes me sound old) I have been almost heartbroken watching from a distance over the last couple of years.
Demi's Great Grandfather was a Bristol Rovers fan but has been a season ticket holder with us since we were in the Vetch so a nice Swans link too.

Aye, also?... I always thought this forum had many a 'socialist' type with 'socialist' principles that is meant to involve caring and sharing.

Seen it so many times before i.e. the worst people whom should belong to Thatchers "no such thing as society" cadre are Lefties themselves.

Perhaps some people prefer to give without telling the rest of the forum they’ve done so.

I've shared it around on as many sites I can think of.

I've also sent it off to Jason Manford's "#charityninjas"

Keep sharing and donating, you know it makes sense

EDIT

It's on £3346 and someone has recently donated £1000 Anonymously

Horrific post to be honest, no need of it on this sort of thread.

I want a mate like Flashberryjacks, who wears a Barnsley jersey with "Swans are my second team" on the back.

You misunderstand. Some people give to charity/good causes like this one and don’t feel the need to tell people they’ve done so. So there may be regular posters on this site who may have donated under a name that other posters on here wouldn’t know and haven’t bothered to tell posters on here that they’ve done so. You, for example, donated as Wingstandwood and came on here as wingstandwood to say that you’d donated. So everyone knows that wingstandwood donated. Well done, wingstandwood, you’re a fine individual who clearly cares about others and wants people to know that he’s donated to a good cause. Others may have donated and just left it at that, content with the knowledge that they’ve helped out an excellent cause and didn’t feel the need to tell people they’d done so. That’s their choice. Others may not have donated at all, perhaps they can’t afford it, perhaps they have other reasons for not doing so. Also their choice.

The point is that you shouldn’t judge others by whether they’ve donated to a charity/good cause or not and certainly not by whether they tell everyone that they’ve done so. And why you needed to turn this particular thread political by implying that it’s probably “lefties” who haven’t bothered donating is beyond me.

Yeah, the more that tell and spread the news the better. Personally I like it when individuals have donated and have used their Planet Swans username/alias cos it may inspire other Planet Swans visitors to donate also... And they can remain anonymous at the same time also. I know a guy on here who has given his real name, great guy, no probs with that either!

Anyhow whatever way its done, its the money thats important!

*Edit* Forgot to add that £1,000 donation, fantastic beyond words!

Thanks, the fund target objective now stands at 70%, with plenty more time for people (who can afford it) to still donate or if possible contribute in other positive ways.
