Theres nothing as thin skinned as a Welsh Nat determined to be outraged. The same people are still whining about the jokey remark made by Anne Robinson years ago on room 101 ignoring the fact that she actually complimented the Welsh in the programme. Storm in a teacup. But this is the modern era, you have to be so careful as even if it's obvious you are trying to have a laugh , there is always someone who wants to trip you up. Normally it's resentment because they aren't as witty.

Yeah totally original that, the same as (all English people) I walked in to a pub in Wales when I was on holiday they were all speaking English and then they all started speaking Welsh when they knew I was English...Living in England I only hear that story every other day

They did indeed apologise but the very notion that they offended a whole nation is laughable.

No doubt some were very offended, some just didnt find it funny but the vast majority of people really couldn't give a sh*t about the tweet.

Their marketing department will be happy - yes a few snowflakes may boycott their product but in the grand scheme of things this will not hurt their sales and they have had plenty of publicity.
