Laura kuenssburg on 19:11 - Apr 14 with 1819 views | JACKMANANDBOY | She's proved herself useless in the Pandemic, mind you most journalists have been caught out. We get similar questions on the daily briefing, many of which have already been asked. The BBC have sensationalised care homes today, at the start of all this Chris Whitty said unfortunately care homes will be impacted and the reporting is different via the ONS. So today BBC run a headline about care home data being airbrushed, followed by the ONS deta! It is just crap reporting no more, no less. [Post edited 14 Apr 2020 19:12]

Laura kuenssburg on 07:40 - Apr 15 with 1545 views | Scotia | I honestly think the daily press conference should have 50% of the questions asked by members of the public. They would be more probing than the nonsense that currently gets asked. It comes to something when one of the best questions so far has been put by ladbible. My pet hate is Peston, he takes about 20 minutes to ask something irrelevant. [Post edited 15 Apr 2020 9:07]

Peston is a real pretentious prick. The "look and listen to me " persona he displays really grinds my gears. Either that, or I'm starting to lose my sh!t over seemingly petty stuff now.
Laura kuenssburg on 08:33 - Apr 15 with 1489 views | WarwickHunt | She gets criticism from the left and right for being biased - she really isn’t. She does however, get played in her desire to be seen as an insider and to be first with the ‘news’. What someone called ‘client journalism’. The Tories have Cummings pulling the strings, Labour under Corbyn were typically fûcking useless at it.

Mmm Dunno no smoke without fire innit.. Bias allegations Following the 2016 local elections, a petition was started on 38 Degrees which accused Kuenssberg of being biased against the Labour Party and its leader Jeremy Corbyn, and called for her dismissal.[30] The petition was later withdrawn by David Babbs, executive director of 38 Degrees, who cited concern that it had become a "focal point for sexist and hateful abuse made towards Laura Kuenssberg" on other social media websites such as Twitter although it was acknowledged that this represented "the actions of a small minority".[31][32] In January 2017 the BBC Trust ruled that a report in November 2015 by Kuenssberg broke the broadcaster's impartiality and accuracy guidelines. A viewer had complained about her item, which featured an interview with Jeremy Corbyn on the BBC News at Six which gave the incorrect impression that Corbyn disagreed with the use of firearms by police in incidents such as that month's terrorist attacks in Paris. His purported answer to a question as broadcast in the report was in fact his reply to a more general (unbroadcast) question, not specifically about that terrorist attack.[33] The BBC Trust said that the inaccuracy was "compounded" when Kuenssberg went on to state that Corbyn's message "couldn't be more different" from that of the prime minister Theresa May, who was about to publish anti-terrorism proposals. The trust said that accuracy was particularly important when dealing "with a critical question at a time of extreme national concern".[33]. However, the BBC Trust found no evidence that there had been any intention to mislead, and their ruling was that the footage had been "had been compiled in good faith".[34] In September 2019 Kuenssberg received criticism for her portrayal of Omar Salem, a father who confronted prime minister Boris Johnson about the government's treatment of the NHS, as "a Labour activist".[35] Salem defended Kuenssberg, saying that she was doing her job "without fear or favour which is a vital part of democracy. I don't think 'Labour activist cares about NHS' is a huge scoop though...".[36] In the 2019 United Kingdom general election, Kuenssberg was accused of bias, in various campaign incidents, alongside criticism of the BBC's election coverage.[37] She faced criticism for tweeting the personal blog of Dominic Cummings, the government's chief strategist, and thus broadcasting his message unadulterated.[38] She was also condemned for incorrectly tweeting that a Labour activist had punched a Conservative Party advisor, without verification; footage was released showing this was untrue and she later apologised and retracted her tweet.[39] On 3 March 2020, however the BBC's Executive Complaints Unit stated that "It found no evidence of political bias nor that Laura Kuenssberg had failed to check the story before publication."[40] Also telling that all the allegations show a bias against only one party..

Surely she knows she's being played though? The unadulterated crà p she's parrotted is unreal. As the saying goes, "if someone tells you it's sunny and someone else says it's raining, you don't give both sides of the story, you look out of the window to fúcking check"

Both her and Peston tweeted the story they’d been given by ‘senior Tory sources’ about one of Hancock’s aides being punched outside a hospital during the election before having to retract when they’d seen the video. Lazy, ‘client journalism’ fuelled by social media and the need to be first with the story. Labour need another Campbell.
