Same here in Germany. A meat plant owned by Clemens Tönnies who’s the Chairman of Schalke football club has 1300 confirmed cases amongst it’s employees in the Gütersloh area. Predominantly Rumanians and Poles living in cramped accommodation. Not good. [Post edited 21 Jun 2020 21:14]

This is the reason why stay local has been right despite many on here disagreeing with it. We are very close to closing it down locally and certainly dont need people from elsewhere coming here spreading it. Swansea hasnt had a single new case in 6 days. Today there were 17 cases of the hundred in Mid or South Wales. Yesterday there were 5. Of the 100 today 66 were in Betsi Cadwalladr 17 address unknown and 17 in Mid or South Wales. Lockdown in Angelsey and maybe part of Gwynedd is the answer however much Drakeford doesnt want it. There is also the question of whether they can remove the local in 2 weeks and whether schools in that area should open. | | | |

SA1 has been busy for a few weeks it's basically a lock down Wind street. There seemed to be a bit of a travellers gathering in the area yesterday too, everywhere between the white rock car park and SA1 was really busy with horses harness racing. There was probably about a hundred of them in total. | | | |

I actually agree with part of that, Drakeford's insistence that all of Wales moves out of lock down at the same time is daft. Anglesey and Wrexham are over 3 hours drive from the main areas of economic activity in Wales.
The 5 mile rule though has always been stupid, I could understand 5 miles initially and then extending to something like 20 once cases were low enough, but not allowing someone to go to a different part of the same city is idiotic. That is the case for another fortnight.
Those areas of the North need to be locked down and let the South carefully get back to some form of normality.

Absolutely. 2 Sisters poultry and their sister company 2 Ag Are part of the larger 2
Sisters Group-The UK’s largest food producer. We have had dealings with them.
Although their technical team are great, the owner who is of Indian decent ( can’t remember his name) is a bit of a ruthless bar steward.
Meat and especially poultry processing is reliant on Eastern European labour. A slaughter line in 2 Sisters will work on 180 birds per minute. Big plants like Sandycroft in Deeside and Llangefni do 1-2 million birds per week each. Communication of hygiene and biosecurity for food safety is hard enough. Without them we would not be getting much fresh chicken in the U.K.

Ive really wondered why these address unknown cases have suddenly started appearing. Could it be because they were living in cramped conditions and didnt say where they were livingg. What the figures show today are numbers of cases in Gwynedd as well as Anglesey. I suspect there are workers going there from the likes of Bangor as it isnt that far so closing it down will be more difficult and the lockdown over a larger area if that is the case. Drakeford moving out of lockdown is the same as Johnson. The difference is Johnson did it with the figures high in te North and Drakeford is waiting for everywhere to get down to minimal figures. | | | |

Wouldn't exactly call Wrexham a small area of economic activity. JCB, Kellogg's, Airbus, the largest factory in Wales just up the road with 6,000 employees and the surrounding factories that supply it along with the Deeside and Wrexham Industrial parks. 130,000+ jobs in total.
The problem with the chicken factories is that they're literally working on top of one another, same at Airbus and many other places, that's how they operate. Unfortunately too many people are still blasé about catching it themselves. |  |
