I’m going with a double Democrat win sadly taking it to 50 seats each. I think Warnock beats Loeffler. Closer race in the regular one but Ossoff to pip Perdue.
Will give the tying decision to the VP which isn’t good news for the Republicans, or America in general if you ask me.
But there are a couple of floating congresspeople that cross party lines so who knows, hopefully they block any of the madder changes that come up and ditch party affiliation.
1 seat win out of the 2 should be enough for the Republicans though, which is most likely to come from Perdue if any. Interesting few days ahead. |  |

Many of his political allies have walked away, he still has the redneck support it seems.
If I was having a bet I'd say he will be prosecuted and will maybe end up in prison.
Trump reckons his legal advice is that he can pardon himself but he's a great self delusionist.

You talk about States knowing more about what happened than Pence, the election officials and the legislatures in the States have defended their election results in public and in Court, 60 odd cases brought by Trump et al have been booted out of various Courts including the Supreme Court, a significant number of the Judges hearing the cases have been Republicans including some appointed by Trump.
Ardent, loyal Republicans such as MCConnell have called out Trumps allegations of large scale fraud as BS. American politicians like Pence must swear allegiance to the Constitution, doing what you are supposed to, adhering to the constitution doesn’t make Pence a traitor, doing what Trump would have had him do would make him a traitor. For a small number of the Republican politically ambitious, yesterday was’nt about Trump, it was about projecting their own image and trying to secure the 2024 nomination.
You don’t have to accept the result and you can live in denial, like the beauts the other side of the pond, what happened yesterday was an affront to democracy. I suspect that over the course of the next 4 years there will be quite a few tales of wrongdoing coming out, Trump and his entourage may become synonymous with shadiness, wrongdoing and corruption.

There is no fraud on a scale which would change the results of the election, senior Republicans have said as much. Sixty plus cases thrown out, what we have witnessed is an unashamed attempt to undermine democracy.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Trump and his family over the course of the next few years become pariahs to a significant proportion of the American public. The diehards and QAnon types will continue to revere him, but I think as time passes and more becomes known he will be seen as a Nixon type charecter, albeit it a rich one. | | | |

Do you seriously think you speak for 50 million Americans? There will still be Trump supporters yes, but many of those Republicans will still be Republicans. The thousands we have seen at Capitol hill are a tiny percentage and not representative of all Republicans. If they were, given all the BLM and Antifa stuff over the last year the USA would have been in civil war.
Once Trump is actually gone, once they find a bit more common sense and hopefully decent people to take over things will settle down in a couple of years. Even the radical Trumpians will move on.
There might be a new party but in my opinion it'll be like UKIP, it'll have a brief moment in time when it starts to rise but it'll soon fade away and be irrelevant. | |

My first thought is that he doesn't support Trump, BLM or Antifa, he just likes to riot! Anywhere there's a fight he's in like Flynn.
