Has it not occurred to anyone in power at Cardiff that what is needed is a complete overhaul of the thinking there? They should appoint a young, progressive manager and a like minded director of football to oversee a complete change in the way they play and the way they recruit. They should be given at least two and a half years to show progress.
Of course, that wouldn't be acceptable to the deluded fanbase and by continuing to appoint known names who have failed time and again they continue to repeat the same mistakes over and over. |  |

They did go down that line with Trollope. I think to do this you need a huge ego and belief and kudos Trollope it appears lacked. Bellamy is one that could have this but has too much baggage with apparent temper issues and a record of excessive drinking on his slate.
Another is one Ryan Giggs who might soon be available but with a different baggage profile.
Giggs is a risk I would be prepared to take. Bellamy probably not. [Post edited 22 Jan 2021 14:33]
