Every time I come onto this forum most of the topics, no matter it being football related or not, end up with people arguing over the most simplistic things, whereas PS you hardly ever see this sort of childish behaviour, they including myself will take the p!ss out of each other, challenge other opinions and it never ends up with people taking offence and falling out.
Btw this is definitely not a slight at you Keith, I feel you have a big job on, there are some proper devisive characters you have to manage here, they think they are better than others, know more and therefore take umbrage when confronted.

Anyone who has some serious observations that affect their enjoyment of the website, or the forum especially, please drop me a message. I’m hopeful the football stories, the news etc will promote some healthy debate, it has in recent times. But please remember the work that goes in to providing the latest news regards our club. What people need to do is chat about football and maybe then it will improve for some. We have though come a long way since September, I’m talking to the fansnetwork hierarchy tomorrow, I’m still very much fifty fifty if this will continue under my guidance in February.
It’s down to the majority from here on in to decide if they want to engage in football chat or continue their prejudices for the coming week or so, and change their attitude which clearly still prevails for some. it’s a simple ask. Mind you there is very little that derails threads, but when it happens it’s slightly annoying, people can assist by ignoring certain posters who continue to try and do so.
I suppose it’s like everything, you can only put so much in to something before it becomes arduous and boring, I’m at a crossroads, with very little Patience left tbh. I’m not a forum poster this is new to me. How my mate Phil continued with this for so long astonishes me. What I will say is that if I do walk away, and I’m pretty close, This website will collapse , there’s nobody else out there that I know who has the contacts or positivity to try and make this a better place. Let’s try and talk about the positives over the past few months for now, it may well help.
The lack of participation in our news sections is the key. If we can turn that around then the site may well kick on more positively. It’s your choice folks. |  |

Funnily enough I was posting earlier this week on the improvement on this site. Less bickering overall but agreed it still exists.
Most annoying things are the hijacking of threads buy a handful of individuals as well as duplication of topics.
Ceratin individuals also seem to try to shut down opinions , esp. politically related views. Free speech is extremely important and must be protected.
Strong moderation can sort out all of the above to make it a great experience for all.

The football board here is good, always has been during the season, and Keith’s done a good job with all the scoops. The not football board is insane, also always has been but it’s more divided these days, a reflection of the times we live in. I don’t know why Phil gets a hard time, he must have worked his nuts off to give us somewhere to argue over football and everything else for god knows how many years and Keith’s obviously put in a massive effort too. |  |

And let's not forget why he does this, I'm pretty certain that anyone who is having a go at Keith for the way this site is run would have more than a second thought should they get the opportunity in the flesh. I'm also pretty certain that's not the case, and if it is, I would love to be there to see the outcome.

Just think people, if you set about a valid way of raising funds for a family member dying of cancer and a bunch of people came out to make that difficult. Unwittingly or not, what would you do ?

Good site this I have used all over the years this is by far the best one.
The transfer deadline day coverage on here last summer was the best I have seen on any Swans board.
