Serious question, what the hell is the point in these? Look's like people who have had the vax, can still spread it, so I just why?

For me, it's looking more ridiculous each day, when they first mentioned it was at the time when they said the vaccine would stop the spread, but looking at the case numbers the last few weeks, this is clearly not the case, be quite silly not to be allowed to do something when there isn't any difference from someone who has had the jab or not.

The Owners
What does The New York Times and a majority of other legacy
media have in common with Big Pharma? Answer: They’re
largely owned by BlackRock and the Vanguard Group, the two
largest asset management firms in the world. Moreover, it turns
out these two companies form a secret monopoly that own just
about everything else you can think of too.
“The stock of the world’s largest corporations are owned by the
same institutional investors. They all own each other. This means
that ‘competing’ brands, like Coke and Pepsi aren’t really
competitors, at all, since their stock is owned by exactly the same
investment companies, investment funds, insurance companies,
banks and in some cases, governments.
The smaller investors are owned by larger investors. Those are
owned by even bigger investors. The visible top of this pyramid
shows only two companies whose names we have often seen …
They are Vanguard and BlackRock.
The power of these two companies is beyond your imagination.
Not only do they own a large part of the stocks of nearly all big
companies but also the stocks of the investors in those
companies. This gives them a complete monopoly.
A Bloomberg report states that both these companies in the year
2028, together will have investments in the amount of 20 trillion
dollars. That means that they will own almost everything.’”

I'm surprised one does not when you look at the shareholdings.

Me too!

Now I have no definitive proof that they all do share board members, but it definitely makes me think and helps me see and look at the other side of the argument.
Hence why I got taken to those other links which helped me get a bigger picture. Didn't like what I found there.
I don't have time to do detailed research into it, but if I did I'm sure there would be further eye openers and discussions to be had.

I don't see how someone can say that it's definitely untrue though. And then say that everything that's coming out of the mainstream media is true and that we should listen to everything they say regarding the vaccines and virus.

It's consistent in almost all mainstream media, yes.
The video may be about the US, but to think that we are not affected by it is somewhat naïve if you ask me. These massive corporations don't just exist in the US.

And before you start saying that guy is a charlatan, or this link is rubbish etc. I'm not saying I'm right. I'm just saying I don't trust mainstream media to be telling me the truth, as they have their own agenda.
I'm not trying to convince anyone. I don't care what you do or anyone else on here for that matter. I'm just pointing out articles and videos I've seen that don't agree with the mainstream narrative.

There are 3 sides to every story...One side...The other side...And the truth.

My point is, if you blindly follow what the News, or the people on TV, or the government tells you, thinking it's for your benefit, you'll be very disappointed at least, and possibly dead at worst.
It's about being open-minded and not just following the crowd IMO.

I'm by no means saying that I know everything, or anything for that matter.
What I do know, is that I do not trust the government or the mainstream media.

I don't particularly like getting into drawn out debates on this, as it winds me up and people start getting upset.
I'm not a liar. I just say what I see.

What winds me up, is that I have no argument with people who want the vaccine. My Mum has had it (which I agree with), my daughter has had it (which I don't agree with), but that's totally up to them. They can make their own decisions. So how can't people let me make my own decision?

Just that first link is an indication of the problem with the whole ‘get your information from ‘alternative’ sources mania’.

Blackrock, Vanguard and the Rothschilds? Always that underlying ‘Rothschilds’ anti Semitic nonsense as well with these people.

Snigger.

Blackrock are asset managers. They have small stakes in an enormous number of companies. In the US and here. They are passive investors. They play no role in controlling or managing the vast majority of the companies they have investments in. They manage huge amounts of money from pension funds, individual and corporate investments, people’s savings essentially. They are themselves publicly owned. A list of shareholders is freely available at all times. Vanguard are a mutual. No one ‘owns’ them. They are owned by their customers. They have an investment in Blackrock.

These huge funds have to take investments in major companies to track the ‘index’. For investors who have a ‘FTSE 100’ tracker for example, the fund has to have an investment in every company within that FTSE100. It’s done automatically - the6 don’t even choose to buy and sell shares as such for some of this - the systems do it for them.

I’ve been a part of companies that are part ‘owned’ by these funds. No one ever even meets them let alone gets managed by them. They are just small shareholders. Even if the ‘largest shareholder’ as one of them will be - there will always be a largest shareholder - they will hold a few percent. No where near enough for control.

These people on links and videos are making links where there aren’t any. It’s designed to misinform.

You are following the crowd. You’re pro brexit, anti vaccine, anti BBC. It’s an identical path of being influenced by the types of misinformation favoured by lots that think they are ‘anti MSM’.

Having worked in a FTSE 100 business on the same floor as the investor relations department I can assure you without doubt that instutional investors play a big part in the direction a company takes. All the significant strategic decisions are made in conjunction with the big shareholders, I've presented at the meetings where these decisions are made.

I'm not anti vaccine. I just don't want to take it myself.

I'm anti BBC yes, but I still watch match of the day, so call me a hypocrite.

Sigh.

No they’re not.

Decisions are made by the board whose role it is to protect the best interests of all shareholders (apart from the odd situations where the role switches to protect the interests of creditors but that’s irrelevant here).

Strategy is determined by the board. Shareholders are involved in terms of voting at the AGM on various matters and can vote to replace members of the board, but small shareholders are not involved in day to day decisions pre event. They can’t be as it happens, as that would make them ‘insiders’ which they are loathe to do (restricts them on share dealing).

The presentations are at half year (the interims) and full year when investor presentations and roadshows will occur to explain what’s been happening. On the odd occasion decisions will be made where the company and its board will assess the mood of shareholders before the event and will bring certain shareholders ‘inside’ to see if the votes will be there when needed. These are rare indeed.
Major shareholders (those with certain percentages of stock) will sometimes have a seat on the board. It’s at a level far in excess of the 2%-10% holding major institutional investors will hold from time to time.
They have other investments where they play a more active, private equity type role but not the huge institutional holdings.

So you're saying there's definitely no chance that all but one US media outlet shares at least one board member with at least one pharmaceutical company?

I’m not saying anything of the sort.

Some of these boards have large numbers and there is a lot of overlap in huge companies. I’m saying that the inference being drawn is nonsensical.

It's not obvious and the post was to back up what Hownejack said previously.

If (not saying they definitely are) the media companies were owned by the pharmaceutical companies, of course it would be relevant. They could tell you what they want you to hear only. They could influence the masses as to how they feel about it all, which would influence how the act.

They are not though.

And by the same token neither can government or even the scientists they've brought in to promote and basically coerce you to become part of the experiment, saying you are free to not take the vaccine but should you not you face the consequences is nothing more nothing less than coercion.

It is completely obvious if you actually think about the source you're getting this nonsense from.

That second paragraph completely sums up the anti-vax movement, but of course it is those who understand the safety profile and efficacy of the vaccines that are brainwashed.

How does that apply to an organisation such as the Guardian, ITN or even the BBC?

I'm realy sorry, but my experience tells me otherwise and you seem to think I'm lying.

You say 'no they are not' and then go on to say that companies do sound out shareholders on some decisions and then say major shareholders do sometimes have seats on the board!!!!!!!

Where have I said you are lying?

As I said, companies occasionally sound out shareholders but almost always not. Shareholders are asked to vote after the event. I’ve done it once or twice in advance.

And major shareholders are sometimes on boards - we are talking 20%-25% shareholders not those institutional shareholders with w few percent.

I thought I’d been clear. Obviously not.

Shareholders communications are highly regulated, and issued via what’s called an RNS in the U.K. it’s actually really important they aren’t consulted before the event, as I said, as that brings them inside and stops them being able to trade freely which they need to do.

In the states it’s a little different as communication is quarterly via a 10Q as well as 10k reporting whereas here it’s twice yearly.
