It most certainly isn’t a surprise that this is in Martin’s mind, but what exactly is going on in Paterson’s has to be of some concern. And of course who is still influencing him negatively. 0 Always review your friends, click here. We did it on Twitter below.

| Jamie Paterson explored and his immediate future at Swansea City on 00:51 - Feb 4 by STID2017 | I feel you have stated your case well Ultimately I think the club should not have discussed his case publicly whether one believes he has / may have / does not have a mental illness. I appreciate the press and us as fans want to know and feel we have a right to know everything that is going on in players, managers, etc, lives, but maybe in this instance less would have been more and the club should have dealt with the matter in the strictest confidence. That way, whilst there would have been speculation ( as there is when other players don't play for reasons that are not known to us ), there would have been no discussion on his mental state on this and other social platforms |
Dr P may well be right, who knows ? Point is, he’s still our player, he’s a needed asset and we need to get behind him, purely for selfish reasons if nothing else. Takes a lot more effort to be unkind to people. Let’s face it, most in football are in it for themselves, including our club.

To me it looks like he has an acute case of greedybastarditis. A bit of ointment should help.

| Jamie Paterson explored and his immediate future at Swansea City on 12:29 - Feb 4 with 938 views | onehunglow | NB I had two uncles that used to live in Rodney Street. They never married and along with their third brother lived a poor life and smoked 60 fas per day . They were looked after by my man who lived in Fleet St . They were unable to live unaided and my man was their only help. Tough times eh. Both had been at the Somme as teenagers and had shell shock and both could hardly speak . They died in their early 50 s They weren’t seen as mentally ill. | |

I would say yes, but what sort of reception will he get? If he come on as a sub there will be no boos or applause from me. He has to knuckle down and prove himself again IMO.

Perhaps he was touched by Jesus as the transfer window closed. It’s a miracle.

If he does start or come on as a sub, I certainly won't be booing him, in fact, if he plays well I'll be applauding him. For 90 odd minutes, all I care about is the team not about their personal or contractual problems.

| Jamie Paterson explored and his immediate future at Swansea City on 19:27 - Feb 4 with 666 views | max936 | I've had sleepless nights and anxiety attacks for months, not had them for yrs until then and more so these last few weeks with added issues that have arose with work, I've been to work though. Not deriding Jamie's problems which could be far worse, but sometimes it helps to keep cracking on if you can, millions do so as well, without doubt | | | |

Sleepless nights. Anyone with kids will have had some. Those with kids who have life threatening conditions have many whilst waiting for the results of scans and what treatment if any is available. Not getting more money for your job is difficult to equate with Mental Illness. Right now, millions world wide are worried/anxious and distressed. Mental Illness is different entirely .

If it's not in your own bed ,for sure. I was reflecting last night,as I was in a spare bedroom (not been 100%) of my life-as one does. When my first marriage was breaking up she was pyssed in the flat,I tapped up a very nice ,fulsome young widow in another branch of the form I worked for and we spent the night in a house of a colleague In Pentregethin Rd (near Brondeg). Middle of the night ,I got up and went to the outside farking toilet and returned back to a warm but very moist woman but it wasn't the kind of moist us chaps prefer. You'll have to wait for my book
