You have not taken into account the collapsed market for the likes of McBurnie. Those days have long gone i am afraid. Southampton wanted £6m for Obafemi 2 seasons ago and had no takers. Swansea got a paltry for Roberts.
Comparisons of recent sales will give you the right figure. Wilson £12m Neco Williams the same and these are real stars at Championship level. Even Mitrovic was not a fortune and he stood out a mile. The Portuguese guy from Fulham to Liverpool only £7m. Moore about £5m.
The £11m rising to £15m for Rodon was good work in hindsight. Kept Swansea out of trouble. |  |
