Always want England to lose in every sport, I've rejoiced whenever they have, the arrogance of some of their fans and lots of their media is astounding.
The bias of some of their commentators is breathtaking, they try to say black is white, we are now seeing it with the English government they blatantly lie, it's shocking to witness, there has been riots after England have been knocked out of football tournaments that in my opinion has in part been fuelled by the commentators comments disputing decisions.

There is no difference at all between the English people and us, especially in the North. Our media is just as biased, and you only have to see how some of our fans behave on away games. It s a small minority but from a bigger country,

No. Generally want them to lose whoever they are playing. Will make an exception when they play USA in the World Cup, in the same way as I’d support Cardiff against the team in 6th if we were in 7th on the last day of the season.
Separate the sport from life though. Massive generalisation, but in my experience, they are great people.

Lived in England for a very long time now, half English anyway and I'm not really bothered.
I would be happy and support at football/rugby club level as I know it would mean so much more to those individuals. When we beat Belgium in 2016 Euros I was on holiday in Greece with my missus watching it in a bar and and all the English were very complimentary that night and a few beers were bought for me

I've used the example of my neighbour Martin (English) before - if you were to ask him which of the 6 nations does he hates the most he'd look at you like you were mental.
He'd be even more surprised to find out that a minority 250 miles away in Wales hate him as some people from the same country as him did something centuries ago.

Whilst there are some who take the rivalry seriously (they need specialist help IMO) there is nothing wrong with banter.
England, as the largest of the nations and historically perceived as an overlord of the other countries in the UK are naturally going to be a target when it comes to things like the six nations where it's the gaelic/celtic nations against the anglo saxons.

I don't think that at all (100% DNA you are having a laugh) at the end of the day I think all people are equal but I do think that different groups do display different traits, some groups having nicer traits than others.

What is this "English" government you mention? No such thing exists does it? Wales and Scotland have their governments, otherwise on this Island that is Great Britain there is only the UK government.

Looking at the rules you don't have to be a UK citizen, you could be a Republic of Ireland citizen .
Looking at the rules, you need to be a UK or Commonweath citizen. As it stands, yes, A republic citizen can stand but AN Other has to be from that list so Vlad Putin could not move to Eire, call himself Irish and stand for government in the UK. What you self identify as nationally speaking, is not legally binding.
For instance, you could claim to be Belgian but that doesn't make it so.
How am I wrong, it's the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the UK government or to many, still the British government. You are the wrong one when you called it the ENGLISH government. No such thing exists.
