I think you will find that Starmer went to a fee paying school but he was exempt from paying any fees.

Im not bothered about what schools they went to but going to a super posh one is anything but a privilege. It's a burden. The Tories incredibly puzzed off both Ruth Davidson and Rory Stewart who would really have made a difference. Both would have slaughtered Starmer

I believe the Tories are now suffering from Long Johnson. He purged the decent, competent Tories from the party. Sunak and Truss are Donald Ducked as they are every but as disingenuous as him but lack his charisma and oratory ability. All brought on by themselves

I dispute Johnson having charisma. Pathological liars aren’t charismatic ,at least not to me. Heseltine is one that did have it in spades I liked him . I met him.

The electorate rejected the left of Corbyn, so Labour has to change. The Conservative party today isn't the same as it was in the 70s, it's far more right wing. Labour has to do whatever it takes to get these parasites out of power.

Changing to just become an ever so slightly less right wing version of the tories is pretty pointless though. They are currently running on the campaign of "At least we aren't completely bad".

He’s been elected to parliament for 30 years. His policies would have directly helped people who are going to freeze next winter - you feckin header. He was unjustly smeared by the Tory controlled MSM because he would have made a massive dent in a lot of the big corporations profits. Wealth redistribution is needed now more than it ever has been. I believe even thatcher would be aghast at the gap between rich and poor today. Seriously. People like you, a supposed steel worker are the real reason these criminals stay in power - because you believe every lie spouted by the press that THEY OWN!

No point becoming Tory lite although that is what has happened unfortunately. Real Labour has been done in by red Tories within their own party, right wing Jewish people within their own party, it's a sad state of affairs, the red Tories should be kicked out of Labour and form their own 'right of centre' party and leave 'real' Labour as a centre left party where they should be and not out on the right of the political spectrum.

The greatest piece of political strategy the Rich ever did was to convince huge swathes of working people that they were middle class and that the tories would create economic stability. The Truss and Sunak tax proposals should tell everyone exactly who they really care about, people just want to stick with the stutus quo and not open their eyes.

Spot on. So why not vote Labour (if Starmer is deposed)? You seem to support the movement’s ideals - an egalitarian society etc etc.

Grammar school educated, the boy done good, what's wrong in that? By the way, we all try to better ourselves, he didn't Geta right of passage like the Etonian brigade I don't think he has the charisma to be prime minister but he's working class all the same.
| Starmer on 23:11 - Aug 1 with 938 views | KeithHaynes | We’ll keep the blue flag flying high ! Labour is to proscribe three leftwing groups including the Alliance for Workers’ Liberty, a movement connected to a number of current and former MPs that also has links with pro-European campaigns. Sources on the party’s national executive committee said it was right to ban Labour members from being members of the AWL, describing it as “an entryist group that was banned until very recently” which had historically stood candidates against Labour. The group’s association with the party has long been controversial and there have been attempts to eject its members, but the movement deregistered with the Electoral Commission two days after Jeremy Corbyn was elected party leader, in order to support his leadership.
