| Swansea fans 18:45 - Aug 10 with 5711 views | pencoedjack | Do we give managers enough time? Feel I have been very supportive of Martin (as I always am with managers)but along with what seems like the majority that support has gone. We have been pretty lucky with managers with a few going onto bigger things. Is a year enough time for a manager before the fans turn or have we been spoilt in recent years? | | | | |

| Swansea fans on 01:12 - Aug 11 by STID2017 | For reference I have seen many awful performances and results since the early 70's ( pre Harry Gregg days ). I have never booed or left a game early. Doesn't mean I was happy with the performances, results, etc. Just talking about the reaction at Oxford and suggesting that maybe ( or maybe not ) the fans who attended had a different perspective on events to those who relied on reports and clips of the game. Those same supporters who attended on Tuesday may well react differently if we get mauled on Saturday at Blackpool or at the next home game |
There is no difference between the feelings of those that post here and those that physically attend matches. In fact they are often the same people. Everybody can see what is happening whether you are watching it via a stream or from the stands. All you are saying is you didn’t hear any booing at Oxford, which we both agree means nothing with regards to how people feel. These narratives people are making up are just odd. Call a spade a spade, the bloke is underperforming and we all know it and none of us are happy about it - who admits that however is quite another thing depending on how wedded to a position you are (ironically much like the issue Martin is suffering from currently).

Please can you highlight from my comments above any point where I have said anything in defence of Martin's performance? Merely highlighting the reaction of the 900 who attended on Tuesday, nothing more. I do disagree with the statement "There is no difference between the feelings of those that post here and those that physically attend matches. In fact they are often the same people". Not sure many who have posted on here attended and have read a few comments from people who start by saying they didn't see the game. I will not be able to see Saturday's game as away from access to a stream, so whatever happens I would respect the view of those who watch the game over those who don't

I didn’t comment on anything from the stream I watched. It was a grainy still from a week later, it was irrelevant to the point I was making… as upset as that’s clearly made you. Dry those eyes Raynor, your golden boy has made you look a plum.

You can take it anyway you like sweetie.Dog and dig. What you should consider is how incredibly insecure you seem to be when any CRITICISM of something as inanimate or indeed notional pops up before your eyes. You do not live in Nirvana, neither do I. Your attitude is that nothing critical is said about anything Wales /Welsh. Nothing but nothing is more pitifully shallow, immature and plain embarassing than that. You may impress your chums but ,from an objective perspective,it is awful to read. Our fans...the great ones? The ones you do not want criticised;I ll report tomorrow ;you d best not read my report. We are that great,we have to be told what or what not to post on this forum so utterly narrow minded are we.

Nothing objective about your views at all - just negative. As to " chums " I have told you umpteen times any views or opinions I post are mine, not related to the views of others. In fact there is often discourse in views with other posters I know, but in the end we are all capable of presenting balanced views and accepting others viewpoints. Sadly not the case with yourself and several others on here

if we do win it'll only be a start, there'd still be a helluva lot to do. We need to go a good run, a good long run before many will return to supporting Martin. If we went on a 10 game unbeaten run with 6 wins I'd still be nervous!

dont worry I'll be here....its funny though how the happy clappers go MIA when we lose or draw but are all over the board and attacking those who dare crtisice this fraud of a manager on the rare occasion we get a win

I fairness I was on here the day after commenting on the game I witnessed in Oxford. Guess it's the same both ways to a certain extent. None of us like to hear " I told you so "

| Swansea fans on 20:58 - Aug 12 with 798 views | Badlands | TBF we usually give managers too much time when it becomes obvious they are struggling (Monk) and sometimes (Bradley) it is obvious straight away. When a manager is trying to introduce things in week one and is still trying to introduce the same things in week sixty … he will probably still be trying to introduce the same thing in week eighty, ninety, a hundred. | |

Bravo. It's such the thing isn't it. Happy clappers out in force only when we win; no rationale whatsoever when we lose. The very best always learn from their mistakes, and kick on. The happy clappers simple bury their heads, time immemorial. And still no rationale from the sleepy clappers for still blindly supporting brand Martinball. Staggering, in the extreme. .
