Not for a moment one saying you’re deaf but I’m in line with 18 yard line nearer to the east corner and it was loud as previously commented on . Loudest it’s been for quite awhile and it seemed to push the players to give that extra 10% to get us over line

I do what I always do, enjoy each game for what it is or isn't. I've been lucky so far!

I don't think the Welsh media have been any help to Cardiff. There has been a false sense of improvement that Cardiff have made on and off the pitch with Morrison and the amount of players they have signed. Its been mainly down to WOL and that clown Abbandantanto, his knowledge about football is poor at best but he bizarrely gets paid for it!

That’s told you , you “Uber” fan lol. I’m all seriousness I was in my ST seat in the East nearer the family stand and the noise was inspiring. But the players deserved the backing because in my opinion it was the best performance this season so far. Should at least have been 2-0 but three points is the most important thing.

Treating any manager like the messiah has always felt very strange to me, but especially one with such a subpar record. Different strokes, I suppose. If people want to celebrate a man over a football club that's their own business. [Post edited 3 Sep 2022 21:31]

Isn’t supporting the man also supporting the club ? Today may well are the beginning of an exciting season

One man is not the football club. A manager is just a part of the machine, and can elevate or hold back the whole. Supporting the players, enjoying a rare win, these things don't require blowing Russell Martin kisses while he fist pumps like he's won a trophy. Wins/success should come before adulation, the determination from some to make it work the other way around over the past year has been very strange to see. Russell Martin had a barmy army before it had ever marched into battle.

Completely agree, he’s not the club, but he’s the current manager. We won today and played well. Martin giving it the fist bumps to the crowd and the crowd cheering back helps the atmosphere and helps the players, players get more confident, play better, crowd gets bigger and louder, machine runs smoothly. He’s trying to get us playing the Swansea Way, after some awful games, last two have been a lot better. Win against a poor Brum and we will be on a roll.

Some people are so negative FFs The fans in the last 10 to 15 mins spurred the team on to finally get our home win

It was average for most of the game, but the last 10mins was excellent and carried the team home. At last thankfully.

so true I dont remember the same thing in the last 10 minutes of the Blackburn game maybe because the so called "real fans" had foxtrot oscared after the 3rd goal leaving the negative ones to boo the team off

Come on Jasper we have conceeded 2 goal leads againt Milwall and Oxford. A last minute goal against Stoke. Threw away 3 goal leads twice last season. All the fans were trying to do was show unity and support after what turned out to be a very good deadline day. Picky and petty to find fault in it. [Post edited 4 Sep 2022 12:07]

I thought the support at the end was top drawer, everyone in that stadium knew that we needed to get past the line and get that monkey of the back. Everyone was in it together and it was shown by the reaction of all sections of the stadium when the whistle went.......the players would have certainly have been thankful of the support from the fans in the stadium. Everyone who contributed should be very proud of themselves.......much needed.

For the first 10 mins all I heard was the QPR fans. It was quite quiet for long spells. Yes the last 7 minutes was loud but it wasn't the whole ground, that's just hyperbole.

No, just churlish, why people want to to take a negative from a positive baffles me. So if it wasn't the actual whole ground big deal. Celebrate a win, pity we have lost 4 points in injury time, or the position would be rosier

It wasn't taking a negative because the post came across as a slight against other posters. Pedantic yes but not negative. It's because we have thrown those ponts away that some people have been "negative" and if we had banked those points this obviously wouldn't be an issue.
