Please, please, please whatever your views are ,can we all just show a bit of respect and not boo the British national anthem (not English) ,and also respect the minutes silence or whatever tribute we pay to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth 11. It won't only be yourself but you will also let the good name of Swansea City football club down if you don't.

Good evening and welcome to the Swansea.com Stadium for our Championship fixture against Sheffield United.

This is our first game to take place following the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, someone who has been a constant in the lives of so many people in the United Kingdom for so long.

The thoughts of everyone at our club go out to the Royal Family, because it is they who have suffered the greatest loss; that of a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Those are bonds and family ties I believe we can all relate to, regardless of our backgrounds, within our team and in our wider community.

Her Majesty deserves to be remembered with great respect for her long, diligent service as head of state, and it is only right that we pay tribute to her tonight.

No, there are people on here, they being those of us "Swansea fans" who do hate the UK, allegedly!

Sorry I must have read it incorrectly .

I required some respect last Friday. I was on a pre booed bus heading to a pre-booked hotel in Birmingham to see the Birmingham v Swansea match perhaps 100,000 other hard working folk were affected in some way including footballers. The spin off affected many businesses and football stakeholders such as bars which lost a lot of business.

Trevor Birch or who ever made the call considered that these people were shown no respect whatsoever. I not not boo anything ever.

I give the fans my support to do whatever they want. They need not feel restricted by the view of the establishment who have treated them with no respect. I would no boo myself because if alone I would probably get punched in the chops. Rule Britannia / Cymru am byth.

If GSTK is not the English anthem then Team England should stop playing it.

The Queen of Great Britain and Wales is a part of Great Britain.
That simple

We boo and we will be pilloried all over football

Liverpool play tonight and the same will happen when they boo the Anthem and they will.

It's perverse class hatred and its pitiful. Many many poor people respected the Queen .The wealthy always think its weird the Plebs respect the Queen.

I may be proven wrong, but I don't think the Liverpool fans will boo GSTK, no doubt a few will, but the vast majority won't.

I sincerely hope our fans will show a bit of class, unfortunately I fear the Liverpool fans will give us a lesson in what is class and what isn't.

For the Club to have to issue a statement prior to the game just shows how classless some supporters are , they'd be better thought of by sitting down staying silent than any booing.etc they may enter into. Its not a protest meeting

The same fan who claims 'Swansea City if for everyone' seems that really means unless you are English, have a bit of money, are respectful to the monarchy or a white man.

Bigoted pigs the lot of them.

They didnt play GSTQ/K which would have been interesting.

It only takes a few dissenting voices to spoil a silence'its why I dread them.

They only had a 24 second one at Anfield. Even that wasn't sent. Bad eh ?

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.
