He'll never learn though. Builthy won fair and suare last year and even multiple usernames votes couldn't help some people.

I will do the same this year of course, winning the poll destroys my forum street cred (the thing you hate), if I won that poll it means my views are no longer hard hitting and become far too main stream, which means I’m not thinking hard enough. Top 3 every year and watching the poor posters struggle will do me just fine, the gang is flailing.

It’s a bit of fun.
Not for certain members of online abuse rackets, it’s used as a tool to bully and victimise just like it has been for the last 10-15 years - they look forward to it every year for that reason.
Thankfully, some posters are far superior people and it’s like water off a ducks back, as much as that clearly gets under the skin of some.
Reality is reality, it can’t be watered down to appease or make people feel better about themselves.

Forum street cred, unquestionable. When I post, people listen.
People reluctantly know I’m probably correct when I post, hence why my posts and my username garner so much attention and people fall over themselves to discredit at any opportunity.
If I find myself posting like everyone else, it means I’m not thinking about things hard enough. Only certain people have the ability to think outside the normal patterns of thinking and reach better and more accurate outcomes.
If I ever win the poll (not the actual POTY which I won last year) it probably means I’ve not been thinking hard enough about my football views and have probably been the victim of some kind of groupthink, it’s very easy to fall into that trap.
If I think about things in my normal way and the outcome is like everyone else’s, then I would rarely post it and not enter the topic. You will only tend to really hear from me when my views oppose the mainstream on here.

What a load of codswallop. It is very possible to exchange differing views with posters on here without falling out with them. Those whom I know personally certainly hold some views and beliefs I do not agree with.
