Got to say that apart from Doc Martin, it has been shocking.
Ant & Dec with the awful Waliams and the equally awful Rylan was a complete load of tosh, that was after the load of crap that is The Wheel, D'acampo gets right up my nose, that Alysia Dixon turned up half dressed as usual, what a pathetic load of garbage, Oh and Strictly was on, afterall its only just been on for 3 fing months.
Utter crap the lot of it, next to f'all on today either, luckily there's a bit of sport on.

It's been utter shi'ite. We have hardly watched anything on ordinary tv because 5 mins of all of it was enough. So we watched streaming services instead.
isn't it really a poor thng when at Christmas the best programs on are 70 year old films?
Gentlemen prefer blondes today, it's a wonderful life has been on, as always.
We recorede Doc Martin, shame it's finished. What new progs are there worth watching? No wonder kids are all over tiktok and YouTube.

If you have Amazon Prime, just getting into Jack Ryan which is excellent If you haven't seen Happy Valley, watch it on BBC iplayer. New series starts on 29th I think ? Excellent series

Hope you find time to watch Doc Martin, its worth a watch, ending was a bit meh for me though, as you say its a shame its finished.
Probably be replaced by someone who thinks they are a comedian, by talking nonsense which they think is funny about their mundane lives, once you've had one you've heard them all. Although it might be worse, with another show invented for Ant and Dec

If you can get hold of it ( via VOD ) then the second Fisherman's Friends film ( film in and around Port Issac where they are from and the home of " Doc Martin" , plus other local locations ) is definitely worth a watch

Visited Port Issac a few times, lovely idyllic setting, had a shandy or three in the pub on the Quay as well
Will look Fisherman's Friend up Cheers.

Watched North By North West and Some Like It Hot - both great films.
Wife persuaded me to watch "Traitors" on catch up (because there was nothing else on) I watched it, surprisingly I found it very entertaining, anything is better than strictly.

Can't beat a bit of doc martin. Didn't watch a great deal, OFAH in the afternoon, and also Gordon, Gino and Fred road trip, enjoyed that, they were in Morocco.

Just watched The Detectorists on the strength of pre- Xmas tele promotions .
I never followed the original programmes so had a look in to see the hype , sorry , it was not for me , maybe not my type of tele entertainment , sure others enjoyed it .
Another nod to Doc Martin , great show , even watch some repeats on ITV 3 , but looked like the storylines had run out of steam based on last nights episode , pity .
Morecambe and Wise , Only fools and Horses , The Two Ronnies , Victoria Wood , who was great , always seem to be recycled in various formats this time of year also .
Avoid Ant + Dec , Mrs. Brown , Simon Cowell etc , all year round anyway .

Morroco was a couple of years ago, this year was Lapland. Its an easy watch and easy to enjoy. Big fat quiz if the year was decent viewing and the afore mentioned detecorists.
