And even closer to matters of this nature at the club. Had the swans accepted the bid they wouldn’t have even recuperated anything close to the initial £725,000 fee paid for Morgan back in 2021. 3 We are owned by nobody, not here, not ever. Click above.

But why did they have to bring him back to sell him, they could have left him at Plymouth, they would still be paying his wages (or whatever percentage they were paying). And if a tidy offer came in for him, sell him, am I missing something ?

| What the hell is going on Swansea City ? on 20:47 - Jan 16 with 1656 views | vetchonian | But seriously its worrying what is going on. There is obviously a disconnect between the Americans and the local management despite all the publicity even promoted on here about this special relationship with Jake and Russ. Whilst as far back as the Siggi scenario there have been issues it seems since Jake has got involved things have deteriorated more.... whilst the owners have kept us financially stable...where are we going... | |

He has developed you can’t argue he hasn’t. But if you think this is about one man, or even Morgan Whittaker you need to read the article again. This is about utilising this Swansea City website to report facts and truth, and to challenge certain truth some have been and continue to believe. For you and vetch, this isn’t negativity, it’s a much bigger issue, and remarks to the contrary without foundation or just to have a pop are pointless. Or would you rather we just sat back and allowed it to go unchecked without having the balls to report what we know and put it over in the way that we do.

| What the hell is going on Swansea City ? on 21:09 - Jan 16 with 1562 views | 3swan | It's no big surprise though, with no inside knowledge just gut feeling, it does seem that disconnect/discontent has been bubbling away for many seasons. We are owned by businessmen who will make business decisions to protect their shareholding value. Imo that has included taking very few risks in football matters. That can only work in short period. It does seem now as if we don't have many saleable assets to cover the amounts required to run the club year on year. Maybe big decision time? | | | | Login to get fewer ads

It’s a gut feeling backed up by a lot of discussion between people who most certainly know the exact issues at the club. Ian Mitchelmore has come out and challenged them, and others too. I can genuinely state this won’t please anyone, but it has to be said 👠

Just to clarify when I was saying gut feeling I was talking about me and not a slight on your sources. I know it's been done to death, but the owners took over in a less than open way by ignoring the Trust. Since then it has been P.R. after P.R. with words not matching deeds. "Maybe big decision time?" If they did sell who would it be to, is the bigger question though, although are we really a good business opportunity for for somebody with the wealth to buy us, we've very little worth left in the squad we don't own the Stadium, if someone was interested they'd want it at a bargain price.

I would say Winter has already. He’s not as daft as he is being played for by the Americans. As you are inferring, we have done several articles that evidence his ability in that area. He has a long history of contingency planning, but the point is if Martin goes it will highlight the real issues now being experienced. Regardless of Winters plans.

Yes I did get your meaning. He wouldn't be the first manager to believe he wasn't backed or promises not kept by our owners

| What the hell is going on Swansea City ? on 22:16 - Jan 16 with 1203 views | Badlands | What a load of absolute s**t stirring tripe. All speculation some of which may or may not tun out to be true. Whittaker, from what I have read, didn’t want to return. He doesn’t seem to want to be here. Who knows, he may be doing a Pato / Obafeme and looking at WBA or Rangers as a better option! If he does play for us he can’t play for another team. So it could be we are just waiting for a decent price before selling him or playing him if not. Could it be that Winter has looked at Ogbene and Whittaker and considers Whittaker to be a cheaper option for similar reward? Or it could be Winter doesn’t think much of the players Martin has desired and we have brought in? 'You wanted a player who scores, assists and has pace?' Well here he is, welcome back Morgan?' Someone suggested Martin might walk if he doesn’t get his way. A few weeks ago 80% were happy for him to go. Yet again a draw and a win and he's being hailed as a managerial giant. | |

Sh@t stirring tripe! this is football forum, lots of tripe is written on every football forum, some maybe even lots of what you call tripe is true. who knows. Whittaker didn't want to comeback! of course he didn't he was flying at Plymouth and he knew Martin didn't want him, Martin said upon his return that he was way down the pecking order, even players that are on their way out of club were put ahead of him. Be very surprised if he's still here come the end of the window, very surprised.

You are an owner. The manager already has SIX forwards of quality. If he gets a SEVENTH where are they all going to play. What the hell is going on? "We only have SIX forwards to cover the next 20 games". "If five of them get injured Iwan Morgan would have to play or Josh Thomas or Congreve out of position". Martin does not like Obafemi, Whittaker, Patterson, Joseph. He did not like Garrick either. Cooper did not like Peterson or Goykeres. Peterson beat the door down to get out an Goykeres hit the big time. The owners want the manager to sweat the assets.

At the end of the day though he is our player, Swansea City are his employers and he has to comply with their wishes regardless of how much he wanted to stay at Plymouth.

A bit close to the bone there. Not sure where you are coming from. Whittaker. He was recalled, he didn’t want to come back. Well we know that. That’s what it says. He can’t play if he plays for the club, yes, we’ve said that. I’m unsure if you get the point of the report either. Maybe go on the numerous forums that WOL have and say the same ? Because they are saying the same. Nobody has suggested Martin will walk, that’s shit stirring tripe. Why anyone would start a response like that to something is the very reason we don’t report what we really could on here.
