I know I shouldn't FB but womens sport is very close to my heart with daughters and granddaughters. One is an ex international with others to possibly follow. And yes it's for Wales but friends play for England so I want both teams in all sports to be successful. [Post edited 21 Aug 2023 16:36]

All of this I agree with. Football wise they are far superior to us, as much as I don’t like it. There’s no point arguing about a tournament we might have won in 1934.

I think that on this forum we have a few English supporting posters who will be up for anything england and obviously on the other side we have alot of passionate welsh who hate anything english, I am one of those only due to my experiences over the last 36 years oop north BUT I rarely post my views on this due to experience (age) and what is my opinion going to do but wind a few people up, it just isn't worth it.
I used to reply to the wales/swansea hater residing in the wirral but due to reason number 2 I put him on ignore because I was banging my swede against a wall with that one, best thing I've ever done.

I remember watching the Euro 20 final England V Italy England lost on pens.
Again the little kids were getting very upset one of the dads said you will have to get used to it son.
I have had 40 years of this.
Still makes me laugh now.
But speak as I find the English up here in the North nearly all cheer Wales on when we are playing anybody bar them.

They finished bottom.of the group and let about 8 goals in I think.

There are literally no assertions in that post. You’ve said many times you support England against foreign teams. I don’t know what you mean by ‘I don’t not ‘support’ England.
Telling people to ‘grow up’ because they don’t support a fellow British team against a foreign team is sanctimonious. It’s none of your concern. Just as it’s none of mine who you or anyone else wants to win.
I was barely born just after the Falklands, but my observation on that is it is more than crossing the line. The stuff fans of English and Welsh clubs chant at each other now isn’t in my opinion.
