As communities become more divided and public frustration grows, I believe governments use the resulting instability to push for greater control and more centralised authority. Eventually we will get to the solution and see proposals such as digital ID systems and broader international initiatives, such as Agenda 2030, as part of that trend, although those interpretations are widely debated.
For years, people have been raising concerns about where these policies could lead. Too often, those concerns have been dismissed, ridiculed, or excluded from mainstream discussion instead of being addressed through open debate.
Whether people agree or disagree with these views, the answer isn't to blame ordinary migrants alone. The bigger questions are about the decisions made by those in power and the long-term direction those decisions are taking our societies.

In this matter Plaid Cymru are irrelevant.. The Senedd are not responsible for immigration. Of course they have their group of bleeding hearts and Wales does it's best to integrate those immigrants sent to us from England.
The Nation of Scantuary is 85% for Ukrainians but has it's limits. Reform and ludicrously Torries want to make it a Welsh issue for electioneering reasons but it is not. Plaid play the "holier than thou" especially Sioned Williams but it is irreverent.
