Of course it is. What are the crowd figures for Wrexham? Way above the non-derbies. We played Watford in mid-week, a team unbeaten well above Wrexham in the league at the time. Sky weren't interested and neither were the 4,000 plastics who will boost the crowd against Wrexham. Now we have a sold out game. live at 8pm on Sky, for a routine game against a mid-table team. Because it's a derby! So we make an extra 6-figure sum by marketing it as a derby and carry on doing so. With SCR this season, we need every pound we can get. No, it's not a Derby just because they are based in Wales. It's a very small minded, insular approach to suggest it is. It's as though every team in England should consider it a Derby if they play another English team.

Trunds was good for the swans but the swans were good for trunds. He put a few thousand extra on the gate at the vetch every game, he entertained us lit up the vetch and had the best years of his career with us.
The final game at the vetch v wrexham was FAW nonsense trophy Robbo becoming a legend with the last goal scored there.
I don't see it as poetic as Kenny Jackett was manager then after replacing flynn towards the end of the previous season.
