Ai

The Welsh Rugby Union (WRU) is a not-for-profit private company limited by guarantee, meaning it is not owned by a single individual or private corporation.

This is another example of a poorly run organisation where no one can profit.. A blatant and obvious parallel of this is the Swansea city Supporter Trust.

In 2015-2016 they were worth £21m but not one of the board or one of the members want to see up and cash in. The benefit to the club would have been enormous. There was no interest in selling because there was no PROFIT.

WRU should sell up and have a rights issue and sell the body to rugby fans and foreign n investor and develop a drive for profit and shareholder dividends. Ospreys fans my theen as owners of the WRU become engaged .

The THEM are to blame become WE are to blame and that demands action. I recall Swansea city the fans took action as the SU ituation had become dire . I take my gat off to them but they needed to finish the job in 2016 instead of the nonsense court case. Silverstein saved their but is my reading of the situation..

The WRU give £6.4 million to each region. £25.6 million total.
If/when they cut it to three regions, they say they will give £7.8 million to each region. £23.4 million total.
So they will, save £2.2 million. Hardly a fortune.
Mad.

That's less than 10 percent of the administration costs saved.

You loose the Ospreys that's goodbye to the second most populated part of Wales. Including Neath PT Maesteg Bridgend and some of the valley. Get rid of the Scarlets and you loose a big part of West Wales. It just doesn't make sense. The east is Cardiff. You've just got to look at the football team to see where a big part of their support come from. It's a WRU East Wales carve up. Something stinks! The debt is on them but they seem to be deflecting it at the Regions.. with the exception of the in administration Cardiff.

Their thinking is to make Cardiff a super club where all the eligible and good enough Welsh players will want to join, I hope that blows up in their faces, but money talks is the good old saying.

I just can’t see that happening.

If you look at the English Premiership, all their teams have good facilities, better than anything we have bar Cardiff Arms Parc and Parc Y Scarlets. The English teams are all located in population centres of over 130,000 people and they’ve got money behind them, we’re light year away from that.

I just can’t understand where the WRU money is going to, there needs to be a massive investigation and overhaul.

Regions gave us 6 6Nations titles, 4 Grand Slams and 2 World Cup semi-finals.

And now they don’t.

They have ruined Welsh rugby.

Nothing compares to those days when this country was feared worldwide.

Nobody should support that Cardiff driven biased nonsense.

A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.

"I just can’t understand where the WRU money is going to, there needs to be a massive investigation and overhaul."

Well start with the WRU management whose salary should be performance related. Then drop the freebies and expenses for all the various commitie members and hanger ons.

I know, no way am I going to it - hoping it was going to be a bright autumn evening with a Swans win, and a burger and pint in St Helens.

I agree though I was going to go because the weather was absolutely atrocious, floods, trees down and not particularly safe so maybe that had an effect on the attendance. If the weather is better then hope there is a near 7000 capacity next week.
I thought the game wasn't that great but maybe the cameras didn't do it justice.

Watched it here, Dragons piled the pressure on for most of the game, but didn't have the guile to score the points needed to win the game, whereas the O's did, the three yellow cards the Dragons had over the course of the game didn't help their cause mind,
loved Moriarty's reaction to his try, I've met him a few times in the past and he's a proper character in a positive way, slightly different to his dad Paul, but definitely different from his uncle Richard.

The main standing area on the opposite side to the mumbles Road end is completely open and holds most of the ground capacity. Sometimes if you don't know the facts its best to say nothing.

Secondly it wasn't 2,500 staying away because the current capacity is 7,000. It was a sell out.

Another club's supporters that you lecture for not attending even though you can't be arsed yourself.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.
