On his social media looks like has re signed for us. Why? We have Naughton and Rushesha covering Rb and Manning and Naughton left cover we seem well stocked.

https://the72.co.uk/203034/ex-cardiff-city-man-drops-swansea-city-transfer-hint- Following some revealing social media posts today, free agent Jazz Richards could be about to re-join his home club Swansea City, after the Welsh international was released by South Welsh rivals Cardiff in the summer. Ashley Richards, also known as ‘Jazz’ Richards, came through the Swansea City academy and made just shy of 40 appearances before being sold to Fulham in 2015. Controversially though, Fulham accepted a bid from Cardiff City, where Richards ended up making more appearances than the black and white side of Wales. Born in Swansea, the 29-year-old has posted photos of him in a Swansea City training kit before posting a black screen with text that said; “Rolling back the years! Let’s go”.
Jazz Richards on 10:34 - Nov 28 with 1664 views | Badlands | A good utility defender especially if Naughton is going to be used more as a fill-in centre back. A very good footballer when he was with us but his main drawbacks with some fans was coming from Swansea and not being white.

Jazz had enormous potential as a youngster. Agree - being local contributed to some criticism. Don't think he helped himself being seen out and about socialising with his mates. Always a difficult one for a local boy a bit like Saun Chapple so to speak. As for the colour of his skin - what a load of nonsense. If Jazz comes back really hope he succeeds. No reason he can't with his experience. As far as Covid is concerned it could be a long tough winter. A strong squad will be needed if we are unlucky and it spreads through the team. We could do with him.

Jazz Richards on 11:39 - Nov 28 with 1610 views | AndyCole | We've also got the exciting prospect of adding Latibeaudiere anywhere across the backline. Pace to burn and a clever reader of the game. Jazz struggled to quell growing discontent from some of our fans but always put in a shift, highly versatile and a physical presence. We're massively dependant on Bennett at the core of our spine. So reinforcements across the back can't be a bad thing, at the right price.

Not being white? Risible comment. He just wasn't good enough for the Premier league, and in all honesty I can't see why we need him now.

I didn't like him because I thought he was rubbish, nothing to do with colour. He's another Declan John, not good enough. Naughton is 3 times the player.

What a bizarre post. Thought Richards wasn’t very good & it had nowt to do with his colour. Awful injury record at the Basseys as well.

Jazz Richards on 17:01 - Nov 28 with 1391 views | DwightYorkeSuperstar | I would be disappointed if we brought him in if we were in League 1, let alone pushing for automatic promotion from England's second tier of football. Unless we have absolutely no cover at full back, this makes little sense. Hopefully he's just training with us whilst he attempts to find a club.

I respectfully disagree - in this context (where we have a lot of quality in defence bur a lot of games coming thick and fast) an extra body could prove to be invaluable. This season is all about staying power in a punishing schedule - we look to be well equipped however an extra body won’t hurt. He may only play a couple of times because of Connor Roberts incredible athleticism but it’s a crucial extra option should we need it.

He's knocking on 30, and played about 150 games for club and country. Enough said.

Me too personally but it seems as if Cooper is scared too after his disaster v Southampton in the friendly. He should never of been exposed to that first game. Look at Southampton now in Premier League.
Jazz Richards on 09:43 - Nov 29 with 1076 views | swancity | Just adding a bit of depth to the squad as a utility player he can cover three positions and that’s all there is to it. Is he good enough for us now? Debatable but he’s an extra body to help with so many games. I’d say he’s up to it 👠
