Played well Sunday but are wide open at the back. But have some decent games coming up. Brentford play a revitalised Newcastle this weekend. The Bees have 1 point from the last 18 [Post edited 23 Feb 2022 23:21]

Yes we would break Derby Countys record if we went up now.

Certainly think there is a gap growing between the Top / Middle of the Pl and the rest together with the top of the Championship. As impressive as Fulham look this season, I can imagine they will struggle next season?

That's how I feel. Every promoted club form now on is facing a tougher fight because the EPL is picking off every scrap of talent and leaving anyone outside the top 12-15 with very little. How many young Championship players look like premier league stars of the future? We borrow good young players from the EPL further entrenching their positions. We send them back and they get bought for many millions when most Championship clubs can't even afford 3 million to strengthen the whole squad. The football elite are just doing to the game we love what the global elite have done to all of us. They are making their position untouchable while the rest of us are left the scraps.

Your last paragraph is spot on, it's what the established teams wanted, virtually no relegation

Leeds hammered again and Brentford losing again. Both teams will be hoping one or more of the bottom three don't put a run together

100% we are safe, you wish won't come true. Look at the table, games in hand and current form table.

Good to see Burnley's revival started when a fit Connor Roberts started playing again. They are keeping clean sheets and he even managed an assist in last game. Makes the experts on this forum who said Laird was far better look a bit silly.

Laird is not in the same class.Nowhere near. I have a soft spot for Burnley A small town ,a third the size of Swansea, really arse and fronting up. A real football hotbed which Swansea is not.

Why do you believe that ? Swansea has always has a thriving local football league. Professionally we have produced many of Wales' greatest players and we are currently still drawing an average of around 16k at home ( depending on how accurate the figures are) and an excellent following away It always has been a hot bed of football Ask Trunds and Leon about the Total Football Centre they run at Mynnydbach. It is so popular it is often hard to get a pitch. Even walking football is thriving It is a real hotbed still

I recall a time when it was the biggest league system in the U.K.
