| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Must admit I had my doubts at the start, learned a little from that point and realised some things take time 😉 Superb player and has a massive future for England ahead of him. Oh to have him in this seasons team, would make a huge difference. Well done MG.

Cabango and Christie look like Championship defenders, Naughton does a good job as he's pretty clever and experienced otherwise we are lacking.

That's good news. Some reckon we got a better squad than Cooper had last season ? Some good players in this year's squad, but Cooper had one heck of a squad too as is reflected by Guehi and Gallagher getting in the squad [Post edited 17 Mar 2022 16:03]

Same I wondered what we had signed at the start as he looked nervy, looked very classy & assured soon after. Gallagher on the other hand looked class from day 1 (although another who had pelters). Good luck to them both.

Nothing new. People are far more interested in sticking the knife in than actually giving players time, especially young players. No doubt you could find some choice comments on Obafemi too.
| Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. |

Don't forget managers in there aswell especially young managers. Its said that our current manager isn't learning but I think this board shows in general that people don't learn from past experiences. Marc Guehi is a great example of that.

Players need time, as does everyone at Swansea.

I’ll take that as sarcasm . Guehi is already a far better player than Harry Maguire

'sorry but you cannot compare the development of players with that of managers. A manager's performance affects the club as a whole whilst individual players will affect the team on the day....it is up to the manager to develop that player. Our current manager has had 18 months previous experience from which he is not learning as Dr. P has demonstrated on another post earlier today. Your defense of this pretender is niaive. The data shows his system is flawed it didnt work at MKDons and is certainly not working here. It may give you dull midtable mediocrity but that is no t good for the club long term.. Take a look around at the empty seats in the stadium, the empty hospitality boxes IT will not be possible for the club to survive on the old hard core...many of whom I know are too not renewing their seasons...due to age, apathy and bored with the dull football and us getting tanked most weeks. Do you honestly want to trust this man with more money which the club does not have a lot of in the next transfer window.....is Fisher really an upgrade on Benda or Hamer? We have had our fair share of young managers...some who came here unlike the current pretender with zero managerial experience such as Toshack and Martinez and Cooper who learnt on the job....dont forget this present manager in now in his third season of management yet he is still making the same "mistakes" it seems. I have hoped and thought he was starting to learn but as others have said his ego will not allow it. MKDons this season are pushing for promotion and as the good doc has said they have abandoned the pass pass pass possession game for a more "direct" style and that doest necessarily mean Pullis ball... I m not sure comparing the managers situation with that of Geuhi is relavent

Well said. Frankly, right now, I’m at a stage when anger is diminishing and I hope I can get it back. However, it is no joy to watch us . I hope I will be renewing my JA anyway as next year will see Blackpool Preston Blackburn Burnley all in the Championship.plus the Pie Eaters will be back and it’s the Red Robin revisited . Martin would have destroyed Guehi and Gallagher. He d most likely play Gallagher at Centre Half and Guehi as a wide man .Cabango is really one of ours I feel for . .

Save your money on JA renewal. You didn't even go to Blackpool, one of your nearest ( if not nearest ). Don't pretend you will go to the others mun
