Isn't it whatever it states in his contract.

Not sure really. I would think the compo would be at least the wages of him and his assistants. I say this because if Martin was sacked thereby breaking the contract he would claim salary in full unless he found alternative employment. Cardiff are interested in taking Steve Morrison back because they are still paying him his full wages. He wuld therefore cost net zero. Contract should to be fair to both parties and Martin is breaking his contract. The club would therefore expect Martins backers to offer them the same Swansea would have t pay martin and assistant. Clearly this is boring. But fine details are boring. Fans do not like fine details. Stuff like investing to offset inflation and selling shares at the top of the market. Stuff like that. Put me on ignore by all mean . Zzzzzz

Not really. The Swans will be pressing Southampton for a million.

I gave you an up vote. Apparently people like themselves after an up vote, it gives them a sense of self respect, esteem and importance. It's the modern equivalent of being mentioned in dispatches or getting a badge at cubs, something to show your friends and family and for them to admire and wonder at. So no matter what kind of day you have had or how you feel rest assured that someone you have never met has fingers and thumbs way too big for a smart phone keyboard.

That's probably his wages

It could be there's a release clause of £1,000,000 in his contract. If Martin was sacked he could still try toclaim that compo even if he took another job, the argument being he only looked for a job because he was sacked. Cardiff are after Morison exactly because he is the cheapest option, Tan has given up funding Cardiff for a promo chase, now they are treading water though just occassionally going under and swallowing some of the salty stuff. Most on here aren't really bored by the fine details, bored bu constant repetition of...well you can guess

I have congratulated myself and informed my wife I'm a jolly good chap and an inspiration to others, she said who said that I informed her it was STD2017, she said who was that I said I think it's the Archbishop of Canterbury because he often wears black and white and can't really expose himself on a football forum. Any way rest easy in your bed, you have an up arrow from me, your life's work is complete and your place in heaven secured. The first question St.Peter now asks is how many up arrows have you had. (PS don't tell him it was from me that may not help your case). PPS If you are the Archbishop of Canterbury, I'm sorry about what I said about the Coronation and your endless mutterings about God. I'm also going back to the supermarket that forgot to charge me for the leg of lamb last month). [Post edited 22 May 2023 18:30]

He has three sources of any note, and never looks to put context on the information.
