Hit me with some gems please, any genre really.

Struggling to find anything at the moment.

No fiction though please.

I want a mate like Flashberryjacks, who wears a Barnsley jersey with "Swans are my second team" on the back.

Pretty old book but hilarious and a very enjoyable read in "The Moon's A Balloon", David Niven's autobiography.

Stephen Ambrose - Undaunted Courage
Reading it for the third time now. The story of Lewis & Clark and their expedition in 1805 to open up the American West. These were...essentially...the first white men to discover the Western half of the US (The Discovery Corps)...it's riveting. Meeting the Indian tribes, discovering plains full of buffalo and wildlife nobody had seen...crossing The Rockies.
A great book.

Anyone read "The Moon's a Balloon" autobiography by David Niven? It's supposed to be brilliant.

Will definitely have a go at Frank Skinner's book thanks St Helens.

Robert Webb's autobiography How Not to Be a Boy was very good. Laugh out loud bits.

I've read it many times. I've always had an interest in vintage Hollywood.

It's full of hilarious anecdotes. Niven was said to be a lovely guy and it comes across in the book.

Anything by Bill Bryson, Oasis- 'Whats The Story'-by Iain Robertson, any Peter Hook book, all Spike Milligans War ones, Johnny Marr's autobiography, Colin Ward's 'The Bootsy Egan Letters', Gary Imlach-'Working Class Football Heros'...one to avoid if you're into Punk is Tezz Roberts-'But After The Gig'-that was 11 quid wasted.

Possibly more a docudrama with (many?) scenes added ...

Although don’t recall how the Dewey systems classifies that

Or even classified alongside the likes of mindfulness
