It is worrying the contempt people have for them who have been involved in the club if I’m being honest, and I’ve stuck up for them recently.

Still holds shares just has nothing much to do with the running of the club. People seem to still think the Yanks are cashing in but how exactly? There is nothing in it for them if we fail. They have put season tickets at prices too attractive to pass up, even for someone like me who may not even be physically able to attend games. If they are doing a bad job that is one thing but if they are really only after profit it does them no good if we fail, there's no profit in it. Ayew will walk away out of contract, other saleable assets, on current form, are dropping in value by the day. 3 months back people were touting Roberts as a 20 million player, on current form we might get offered 5. Grimes, people rated him but right now we might only be able to give him away. Other players in the squad who aren't getting picked must wonder what they have to do.

| Kaplan and Levien on 12:24 - Apr 3 with 1329 views | Treforys_Jack | I'm not buying this, it's all the Americans fault bollux , our manager is stubborn and keeps playing the same system with the same players even when they are so far out of form they are unrecognisable. He will not change, anyone know how long his contract is for. Its strange because on paper he will be regarded as one of our more successful managers, with probably 2 play off finishes, but his football is turgid and sleep inducing. | | | |

There were a few putting their heads about the parapet even last season tbf. I've backed him because I thought there was a bigger picture and our defence was so strong, I could genuinely see us going up. Can you imagine this guy in the PL a bit of passion on the touchline wouldn't go amiss either.

The owners hired a cheap option as managaer, probably the cheapest they could find. It's probable all the loans in are there because the club only have to pay a percentage of the wages. Ayew is only there because nobody else would pay his wages. Instead of buying a man who could score goals and get us promoted, they bring in a £200k plus add ons kid who could hardly get in Derby second string. Routledge and Naughton re-signed on bargain wages, cheap again. They get rid of the academy to save even more money, yet have made millions out of it. About time some supporters opened their eyes now. It will soon be too late. Yanks get out of our club.

But they didn’t though did they. Birch, Curtis and Britton were the ones doing the interviewing. If I remember rightly Birch had to talk them through it as they were worried about Coopers lack of experience with senior players.

Have you hit the nail on the head, when things were going well it was easy butCooper doesn't know how to handle senior players when things are hard. Has Cooper actually got the bottle to give Ayew and Lowe a bollocking when needed? It looks like he hasn't the bottle to drop them any further than the bench.

It's the performances not the results, if we'd lost 3 on the bounce by being brave and having a go I wouldn't say so much.

Would we appoint a manager that's got all the undoubted plus points of Cooper as well as the experience of working with senior players as well as being able to gain their respect, as well experience and success in the championship? Cooper's got his faults but this is only his 2nd season in senior management. He's not going to be the finished article. People need to be careful what they wish for because these finished articles are rare and expensive.

Academy still operating yes. I remember Birch saying we would stay in Category 1 until at least the end of 2020-21. But his words were not correct. Transfers - as with most of our loans we pay half the wages and then pay in full if promoted. Hourihane £334 k total, rising to £668k if promoted, so I understand. Villa very happy to loan him out. | Kaplan and Levien on 15:21 - Apr 3 with 1149 views | ReslovenSwan1 | The fans are ike the three headed Monkey. "Hear no evil see no evil and smell no evil". The Trust (they own) were worth a whopping £21,000,000 in 2015 but the board member stated they did not want to sell any of their shares and did not accept diluton. They have done nothing to help the club in recent years. The US owners and associates have injected a reported £10m into the club to do urgent maintenance and improve the depth of the playing staff in the midst of a pandemic. FOUR international experienced players keen as mustard were provided to give the manager options to rotate his staff. The two US internationals were probably 'at cost' as they were coming back from injury and in the close season. Arriola was treated like a teenager not a 35 cap USA international ideal for rotating Ayew and Lowe. Freeman has not played at all to give Roberts a break. If the manager did not fancy Freeman, Arriola can also play wing back also. The Trust was a callow 13 year old in 2015 and not ready for full time work. It is now 18 years old with no qualifications and needs to get off the sofa and get a propper job instead of complaining about the old man 'Uncle Sam'. [Post edited 4 Apr 2021 21:16]

21% owner. They have only ever invested £200k into the club and much of that was from business donations. They are not Lalngyfellach Womens institute. They shoud be able to manage money and investments not just pontiificate on fasionable social matters and decide where the Trust board member should sit on matchdays. The day of reckoning is coming when they get severely diluted. They typify many Welsh youth that do nothing and simply hope to inherit their wealth from property inflation.

| Kaplan and Levien on 15:54 - Apr 3 with 1100 views | Dr_Winston | The usual "They've taken millions!" guff from people who still to this day haven't managed to identify any spare millions to take. The club is being run within its financial capability. As all clubs should be. That means we can't/mustn't run out and spend millions we don't have, on players we can't afford. It's a simple concept, but one lots of people somehow still struggle with, despite us having been to the brink twice already. | |

Covid brought the academy downgrade forward. Sensible move regardless, we're a couple of years from having a strong u23s side without investing millions in new players as we did in the PL.
