Definitely keep Grimes and Fulton. They are the backbone of the team. Unlikely to command huge fees in the current football economic climate and difficult to replace.
Fulton very unfortunate in my opinion not to be picked for the Scotland squad for the Euros. |  |

Byers is one of the few players in midfield that can actually threaten to put the ball anywhere near the net. He has however Ollie Cooper breathing down his neck.
Govea reappeared briefly but is back on the treatment table I would guess. Enough is probably enough for him.
Lowe is a player on an upward trajectory and at 26 is still developing.
The club must decide if it is prepared to go with 3-4 kids or import. Cullen, Ollie Cooper Brandon Cooper Rushessha, Dan Wiliams Garric . Are they going to get 20 games? No point going on loan to league 1 if a talent like Byers cannot get a kick. Better to go to Wrexham or Yeovil where they get games. Swindon likes to play swansea players. |  |

Ayew just under 3m
Hourihane 600k
MGW 150k
Guehi 200k
2m lost on fees etc on Morris / Arriola
Total - around 6m
It’s inevitable then players will leave and the saleable assets are Grimes, Dhanda and Fulton.
If they went it could mean 11m or so in the coffers as the swans don’t do staggered payments, his words not mine. This excludes Lowe who I think will stay.

Think we probably lost a fair chunk this season so comparing imminent savings vs the drop in parachute payments doesn't mean we're near an even keel just with the expensive gambles leaving. Turned a profit in Cooper's first season but the parachute payment dropped significantly after that.
Difficult league to balance the books without parachute payments. A lot of clubs spending twice their income simply on basic wages. Need continual player sales if not every year then every other to pay down the debts. Lot of clubs we can look at to see how quickly debt can spiral into a hundred million+ | | | |

It's a really hard year to be making these calls but I'd keep Fulton and Grimes, I'd keep Cabango, Latibeaudiere and Bennett too, it all depends on whether Cooper stays or we have a new manager of course, too early to be sure yet so Bidwell, Roberts and Manning probably stay too.
I don't see Lowe being worth more than Grimes but if anybody will offer 8 million I'd take it, personally.
For me, before we can make any really big decisions on players, we need to know if Cooper is staying or going. If they have a replacement in mind we need things done as quickly as possible so team building can start. I don't want us being a week before kick off and 3/4 players short. This year theowners have to show their true colours, if they genuinely want us to have a shot they have to stay out of recruitment, let the manager decide which players come in and then the manager can stand or fall on those player.s. | |

They won’t let cooper leave because of the loss of income. They may say to him you are free to discuss with any club your immediate future and give him a deadline, but they won’t turn down the compensation in Coopers contract and then pay him off a year as well. Not a chance.
He may well go, but he has a big heart for the club, either way I’m happy. | |
