I will be surprised if Whittaker or Cullen are around next season.

Ive heard Russ is going to bring in a new stadium cat as the one he has in mind from Milton Keynes is better for us.He might replace the catering staff, cleaners and stewards too as most things Swansea aren't really good enough for him and MK is best. What a way to treat our academy lads.

I think you need to accept Whittaker and Cullen may not be up to it. They are only being used sparingly at Lincoln and not setting League One alight.

I never thought Cullen would make it. Remember Martin played him in midfield and instead of Piroe. I ve not heard Rus accept he was wrong either. I still believe there s a footballer in Whittaker but if there isn't then we get rid and replace. Simple.

What about if we show patience? 3 years then see how they are doing. That seems to be the theme.

Why? If we are saying we don’t care how the manager or team do, because we have to give them time. Then why are we only picking and choosing who gets this patience? Seems pretty logical to me. But then again I’m sensible and am of the opinion that anyone performing poorly need to be held accountable so don’t need such lopsided justification for mediocrity.

So we should or shouldn’t be patient? You complain when you deem people aren’t patient, even though you complain more than most… now you are complaining when someone is saying to be patient. Make up your mind.

Your claim to be patient is clearly sarcastic. You view no future with Martin. I do advocate patience. As I have explained before, like most fans, I do get annoyed when we perform badly or lose, but then in the cold light of day can see the situation as it is. Which means there is no point in jumping up and down constantly, some balance and a view to better days under Martin is called for. You made your day up on day one and are just waiting to be shown you are right. Which is an arrogant position to take as that never allows you to admit you are wrong

Scored a hattrick the other day so his agent has probably been busy. By comparison Ollie Cooper is a year younger and has 1 goal and 9 assists in 31 appearances in his first exposure to regular senior football (Thomas-Asante has over 100 EFL apps to his name). Brandon Cooper was a standout at that level when he was 20, but not in Martin's plans since the first international break.

So do you think we should be patient with players or not? If not, why not? “You made your day up on day one and are just waiting to be shown you are right. Which is an arrogant position to take as that never allows you to admit you are wrong.” For what reason would you like to admit I’m wrong? You are sounding like your middle aged gangster chum now. So I should say “I’m wrong, this season had surpassed all expectations and 16th is a wonderful result beyond my wildest dreams”? What am I wrong about exactly here? Do you even know?

Up to the manager and staff to decide whether to be patient with players or not. I am patient enough to see where the process takes us. Cannot comment on players unless we went through the whole squad. As for you being wrong, your arrogance would never allow you to admit it. No point in listing any examples ( which I wont anyway ) as you would never admit to them. Adios

So everyone has to show him patience (even when you don’t) but it’s fine for him to not show his staff patience. Have I got that right? And you want me to admit I’m wrong about something even though you have no idea what I’m wrong about?

Maybe you can help then. Are we saying that the manager demands patience and we must obey, but he can show little to no patience to his staff and that’s fine? Just trying to get a grip of these oddly changing and hypocritical “patience rules”.

Martin has done the right thing by sending these player on loan. I believe that Cullen Garrick, Brandon and Ollie Cooper and Whittaker should all get 100 games under their belts as soon as possible and then review. In that ag players will kick on or fade away, It is a process of technical and personal development. I would love to see synergies with DC united. Arriola a star in US football is considered "Extremely technically limited" . 40+ caps for USA with 8 goals. Swansea loan players should fly in the US based on that. It was disappointing Dhanda turned his nose at the US chance.

We play a unique style, what’s the point in sending them to play another one when he says that he then has to essentially beat their old way of playing out of them and start again? Surely it would be better, in a period of patience, to show patience to these players instead of showing none?

Good Post Jasper, and I m sure you can tell us about current acadamy players of ours who could fit the mould of a "bench" squad member. Also interesting is that Martin probably didnt have much to do with Asante as he was out on loan and left in 2019...I suspect before Martin took over as manager. I cant believe we are looking to spend £250000 on him wouldnt we be better looking at Telford at Newport and Stephens at Forest Green who are banging in the goals

Also just to pick up on this as you are clearly trying to crawl back to the dark side thinking people will forget you calling for Martin to go, multiple times. I’m afraid you are trying that with the wrong poster, I always know what people say. Just this month:- “The players won’t leave but I suspect Martin will though. Not because he will be poached but the club will lose patience with him”. ………… “The players were plenty good to win yesterday Keith, it’s the system not the players at fault” ……… “Not sure Martin is convincing anyone anymore” ……. “Nothing in Martin’s comments or demeanour make me think things will change. We have a group of players that can do well with the right manager. Martin is not that manager.” …… “Either Russell makes changes (which I don’t think he will) or he must go. Simple as. We are safe this season so let’s use the next couple of months to get a new manager in”. …… “I think someone in the higher echelons of Swansea need to have a long chat with Martin, or he needs to go” …… “I fear he is showing signs of a manager who has lost his way but can’t admit it” Many more where that came from too. Patient enough to see where this process goes. Pull the other

Glad to see your little black book is working. Sad life you lead. Opinions can and do change hourly and daily, based on moods, performances and results. Only you and a few others are inflexible Hey ho
