Who would you rather be following next season.
Swansea or Cardiff ?

OK I've changed it.

Swansea for me. I’d wish though ohl and the other anti RM clowns would go to legoland.

Not to be insulting, but what a bloddy stupid question.

If we'd just been relegated to non league and they'd won the EPL it still wouldn't be a question.

No it wouldn’t but based on the fact both are in the same league next season and we have seen their performances throughout it seems to me to be perfectly valid.

A valid question if you are a glory chaser maybe, the kind of person who switches shirts quicker than I switch tv stations.

If you were a newbie deciding which team to support then maybe but it's not a question for dyed in the wool jacks.

If I were indifferent to any club in particular, then probably all three South Wales clubs.
As a Swans supporter then only one answer.
Just to make it 100% clear - my answer is Swans

I don’t believe NL is asking us to pick a side to support next year but would you prefer to be in a Cardiff supporter’s boots or Swans. Nothing to do with us supporting any other side than our own.

I think the original question needs to be rephrased then. I would rather be a swans supporter next season if they were playing in the Sunday league division than be a filthy scummer

From someone who is no where near as passionate as you lot….

Answer could be Wrexham

They’ve got a very rich owner who seems to really like where he is, seems to love the game and, although possibly a toy, could do wonders for the club.
Wrexham are now being talked about amongst his rich mates, are in the news in the US are off to Wembley and look like being promoted. Very exciting times ahead, (their fans unaccustomed to success are living the dream.

Swansea

Other than the Blackpool game, I’ve enjoyed every game I’ve been to this year. First game in Blackburn it was clear what we’re trying to do and I’m excited about what next season is going to bring. I’m confident the owners will back him and am hopeful we will retain most of the players he wants to keep. We’ve got a young side, who now know what the plan is, and I’m expecting a good season next year.

I’m a fan of Martin, but he will have no excuses next season. By Christmas we will know what he’s about.

Cardiff

I’d be worried if i were them, apart from a good run of games, they’d be in trouble, they’re playing really poorly at the moment and don’t seem to have a purpose.

Difference between us and them is we have a plan in place.

There's quite a few non Swans connected pundits predicting us to do well next season. Can't recall anyone passing any particular comment on the Canton Jamrags.

On the face of it you'd probably pick us. We're a club who look to be getting things together, albeit slowly. Got some talented players, no financial issues and are building for the future.

Compare and contrast to our cousins to the East. Losing money hand over fist with an extra £20m hanging over them like the Sword of Damocles. No real quality in their squad, an indifferent manager and a style of football best described as "agricultural".

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Cardiff have no players next season.
Cardiff will be in a relegation battle next season.
Cardiff are still awaiting the courts decision over the money they owe.
Cardiff are £100 million in debt.
Cardiff have a useless manager.
They play in blue but have red seats in their ground.

Cardiff do have huge a huge concourse at legoland.

On balance there is only one team for the people in South Wales to support. That is the team who were the first Welsh team to play in the PL, the only team to do the South Wales double, the only team to win a major trophy this century.

Not a hard choice to make is it

Agree but would you be happy if we had two Welsh clubs in the Premiership and all four in the Football League?
(for the purpose of this question, Premiership, Championship, Divisions 1 and 2, it has been questioned what the Football League consists of in past discussions)

I would prefer only one team in the Premier League and it wouldn't be Cardiff. But yes I would prefer Wrexham to be in the top four divisions.

And lose the chance to do the double again in the higher division.
For the sake of Welsh national footie I'd be happy with as many in the Premiership as we can get providing there are a number of home grown talents within the teams
And we always end up above Cardiff

The double has been done if it happens again so be it, I would rather see them struggle flounder in the lower leagues and let Newport and Wrexham do the double.

Thought that might have been the case earlier this season as Cardiff headed downwards and Newport were on the up.

If I was an outsider, and had to make a choice, it's like chalk and cheese. Any person in their right mind would pick the Swans.
