He needs to get control of the situatiin and the board need to strengthen areas that need strengthening.
For me, we have yet to replace Wolf and Christie and inturn get another midfielder in. Bench showed our weakness as a squad today and as i say, Martin needs to stand up.

For me, it was the complete lack of any kind of urgency or passion from the players. Even if th manager is dire, someone still should’ve taken the game by the scruff of the neck but no one bothered. Again, scared to shoot, pass, pass, pass with no end point in sight.
I’ve been pro Martin but, phew, that was hard to watch,
Are the owners going to back him ? Clearly need players as these guys aren’t up to it.

Piroe right now is shocking and Im actually rather concerned about him.His body language is all too evident of being mightily upset. Dont forget Martin ripped him right at the start of his tenure

Finally,I read one poster stating he want bothered about not playing in the Premiership.That shows how ambition has slowly haemorraged from our club.

Don’t know what I feel, certainly not angry, not an emotion I easily get to, it is more disbelief at such a display lacking in effort. Don’t mind losing if we go for it, play to best of ability and get beat. Fair enough, this was just…nothing. No urgency. Complete lack of respect for the badge. | | | |

How any manager on his earth could think that Sorinalo is better player to have on the pitch than Congreve is beyond belief. The squad is good enough - Congreve and Cooper came off the bench and looked more than good enough to start in the Championship.
No way is Piroe shocking, he's quality - the role he is being forced to play now that IS shocking which is now affecting his confidence - all down to the manager and his game plan. | | | |

They can't though.
He has already side lined several players for not being able to play his style. We are talking about young men, early in their careers, concerned they may not get another chance at this level. We don't have the group of senior players with the stature to have input.

These players are a Martin problem and he is kicking the can down the road. I asked last season about his plans for the "Dirty Dozen". The problem of the unwanted 'dirty dozen' has not been fixed. They will never be "good enough" for Martin but Sorinola and Wood are good enough.
Ten players with no future is too much. The cupboard is not bare. Potter played Courtney Baker Richardson and made it work. He did OK. Potter had restrictions as well. |  |

Luton bullied us throughout. No excuses for the lacklustre performance but the ref was shocking. Almost every contact was accompanied with the Luton player grasping chunks of white shirts.
Darling in the centre of a three doesn’t work, too slow, too weak and too indecisive.
My concerns about Wood were confirmed. Poor kid is way out if his depth.
Can Allen play alongside Grimes? Both seemed to be trying to do the same work.
