Agree. We need guys who are going to fight for the cause. They are just not doing it. They should be full on...but very little.

They couldn't find the rhythm of the game when they came on plus players started to look tired around them. I would have brought on the West Ham kid with Paterson, just thought we lacked pace to get behind them tonight. But tonight's performance was not worthy of sacking manager. On another night we could have been winning 3-1.

Even when you know, you never know?

But we lost and we lost because the substitutions lost our impetus and who made those substitutions?

It's happened too many times, he needs to go.

A year on Ntcham is still not up to speed and seemingly cannot play a full 90 more than a couple of times a season.

Taking Cooper off for anybody was scandalous tonight let alone for either of those 2

Oxo flex I might have understood with the success we were getting down the left

Agree, pace seemed the obvious thing to introduce, Sheffield United seemed a bit vulnerable at the back.

Both blow hot and cold, neither have blown hot for a very long time. They are far better players than their performances show, with hindsight we should have brought the two loanees on or left things as they were. Paterson & Ntcham ar just not hungry enough.

Oko-Flex should have come on. We need pace, we loan a kid with pace and then we leave him on the bench when it seemed set up for him. We'd done well done the left, the fullback was tiring so what do we do?

Cooper was doing well, full of energy again, out muscled a bit but he worked hard.

Joe Allen....does it need saying? What a signing. Even grimes, not my favourite player by a long way but he was good.

Here's a thought, what if Downes wasn't as good as we thought and he was dragging Grimes down? Because, with Allen in there Grimes looks much better. Or is it Martin's change in strategy, no more of the silly tippy tappy in our own box, is that the difference, or a combination?

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

I thought Grimes was poor tonight.

I thought Grimes had a good game, to be fair I don't think anyone was terrible although Wood had his usual moments and Naughton made a costly decision.

Oh and Piroe didn't have his shooting boots on but put in a terrific shift mainly up top by himself.

As for Ntcham and Pato need sorting out quickly, those players done absolutely nothing last night when they came in, stark contrast to the United subs who came on and ultimately won the game........the worrying thing is Ntcham and Pato have the quality and most certainly have the experience but seemed to just come on and go through the motions last night.

You can't take away that Martin needs to get things sorted quickly but I can certainly understand why he gets frustrated with certain players.

Anyhow, Saturday.

Benda

Wood Darling Cabango

Stevens Allen Grimes Manning

Cooper

Obafemi Piroe

If Obafemi is not playing then Oxo Flex instead.

Both are not performing as the were a;st season.

ATM we seem to have a player and manager, either one or both are being stubborn as heck, it needs to be sorting this week, if not and the weekend goes badly both will lose the fans, we cant have this situation destroying the club if it continues either one or both need o go.

If the criteria for playing for the Swans is putting on a kit ,jog around for 20 minutes , strangely listen to my name being sung extolling the virtues of my cost /abilities then I’m your man .Thats how I feel how much the pair contribute .

With Cullen crocked and Abe sulking ,we needed someone to help Piroe.

Martin hasnt the wit to see it.

Congreave has now dropped back into the U21s (he played on Monday) , how long before Cooper makes a mistake and goes the same way , under the double decker

Cooper has been a shining light but Martin will snuff him out.

Im just coming round now after last night.

Grimes ,as Ive said before, along with naughton are our root problem. They strangle us.

IMO Grimes had a good game last night and with the introduction of Joe has improved looking to move the ball forward , Naughton was never going to win a foot race over that distance and why would he be expected to , he must have been instructed to stay as last man for that corner. The defence last night soaked everything that Utd threw at us , so much so they starting hitting shots from 25 / 30 yards out due to frustration .Martin's continuing making mistakes , individual errors on the pitch are made in split seconds , he has the luxury to observe and instruct .

Ntcham has to be the most overrated player we’ve ever had.

Congreve is 18. It was clearly too early to promote him to regular first team duty. People got overexcited. Do a few months in the u21s and try again later, that's how it should work for the youngsters. Never like to see us loan in PL kids ahead of our own, though.

Ollie's overaged for u21s football now, but if he loses his place maybe he'll have to step back to keep up his fitness as Dan Williams and Brandon Cooper have done. Brandon's stuck here in limbo, must have been injured ahead of deadline day.

Hence I can't understand why a few sing his name , as if he need a a kick start , myself it would be a boot up the arse he needs , he just goes through the motions and gets free ride and yet others such as Naughton , Grimes etc seemed to pilloried constantly ( not the greatest but always puts the effort in)

He was deemed worthy of a chance and kept within the squad up to the point him being hooked, before halftime I'm not party with the inner workings of the Club but as an outsider looking in, being taken off then back into the academy doesn't seem great man management ( unless of course it was mutual decision )

Five players who I’d not be sorry to see in a Swans jersey again :-

1. Grimes - offers no drive or leadership and seemed to enjoy putting our woefully weak right flank under pressure - Wood especially.

2. Olivier Ntcham. Like Keith says offered nothing. When we lost Ollie and Fulton we lost any real chance of winning.

3. Jamie Paterson. See Olivier Ntcham.

4. Nathan Wood. I thought there was a good footballer in there after one previous performance but is either paralysed by nerves or just not really a footballer.

5. Ryan Manning. Why the hell we sold Bidwell and kept him I’ve no idea. Well maybe Bidwell would be a little less compliant than Manning and stood up to Russell’s bullsh*t. Worse than ineffective last night.

Martin should have put Cundle on before Paterson as he looked very good and more to the point hungry when he came on against QPR.

A game we should have won last night ended up not even reaping a point. Martin must go.

We lost that game as soon as the pair of them came on. I’m sick to death of Mussel Farting making excuses for these two. “He’s got mental health issues bless him”
As for Ncham, when is he going to be fit enough to play 90 mins ?
They’ve been handled too softly, when they both needed a kick up the harris.
MARTIN OUT!!!
