If we didn't have Joe back I'd say Leon but we do so I'm going to pick Ante, we need a proper centre back who will win the header, get tacles in but can pass too, Ante is/was the real thing, he was a beast, as Regis knows!

I remember Ante at Man City in the first division, we lost and I think he scored ( I’ve checked he didn’t 😂 ) but he seriously got at their two strikers, he was a beast of a player but had the ability of an attacking midfielder. The finest central defender I’ve seen in a white shirt.

The named players are fine and to a degree they will achieve the aim of their sponsers(the posters here for non-ambiguity) BUT Russ dictates the style and tempo and i'm concerned that he is undoing the strength and ability of our squad actual and/or imagined.
