That ref was doing his best to give Argentina that try, disagreeing with the TMO but he stood firm and said it was definitely in touch. He looked pig sick. That ended the game with the Argies throwing hissy fits everywhere. Never been so happy to see England win. I hope they celebrate in their faces the dirty b*stards.

Absolutely.
I couldn't hear what he was trying to say but he didn't look happy when tmo was saying no try
It wasn't a great game but well done for shoving it those argies. See how those stupid footballers have managed to drag up emotions of a generation

He hit the flag before grounding that was never gonna be a try.

You can hit the post, just not the base of the post. I thought it was a penalty try for the high tackle.

I found it astounding that the ref didn't review that high tackle with the tmo.
Definitely it was high - it was around the winger's neck ! It slowed the momentum of the winger and if it wasn't for that there would be no conversation regarding whether it was touch in goal.
To me the correct decision should have been was a try scored ?debatable tmo says no therefore the ref should then have said would have been a try but for the high tackle ... correct decision penalty try .

We need a decider now, maybe a game of cricket. Winner takes the Falklands

GB already has won a game to stop Argentina and safeguard the islanders future. The Argentinians need to be interrogated as to why this island, 300 miles away from their coast is so important. Ireland is only 12 miles from UK (Scotland) at its narrowest point.

You're right it should have been a penalty try, saw it again earlier, from one angle it looked like he grounded the ball in field, but from another angle it looked out, none of that should have mattered though, as I you said it should have been a penalty try.

Well well well same old England always cheating, the Argies were robbed one of the English tackled the player round the neck and the other one did a forearm smash into the players neck, penalty try all day.
England breaking the rules all the time, 7 yellow cards 4 of them to England should have been more, they should not have appointed an Anglo Saxon ref called Gardner ,they should have had an Italian, Frenchman, or Afrikaan.

Continually being banned by Planet Swans for Porthcawl and then being reinstated.

FIFA rankings. Spain up to 1st, Argentina drop to 2nd, France 3rd and England constant in 4th where they have been for 2 years, so have not been poor or rubbish. Wales down to 38th slowly dropping over the last 2 years.
