Anyone else have a bit of extra emotion in the celebration yesterday after seeing Ronald set up a goal like that? Like your little brother scoring a goal at grassroots level if you know what I mean.. Great seeing all the players celebrating with him too.. But more importantly he looks reinvigorated and dare I say like the player we had when he first came.. The booing when he came on was disgusting. You can question his quality at times, but never his effort. Was chuffed for him because his work for the third goal was superb.
He's unlikely to force his way back in as a first choice, but we could be doing a lot worse for someone to bring off the bench for his closing down alone. |  |

He was brought on to support Lissah who was looking exposed and vulnerable at right back.
Lissah is a centre half and looks far more comfortable there in my opinion.
A quality centre half of the future.
Realise that the injury concern to Key meant Lissah coming on at right back.
Really pleased for Ronald who seems to love it here.
Was gutted for him a few weeks back seeing him leaving the pitch and clearly believing his time at Swansea was coming to an end.

Dear God. Thereās opinions then there is sheer stupidity.
I was his biggest critic last season and wasnāt upset thst he was going to Millwall. But since then heās proved heās a better player than he has shown previously and deserves his place on the bench and the pitch late on.
It was good to see the way the players celebrated the goal with him. Even VIP didnāt take the plaudits, he just ran over to Ronald pointing at him to say this was all down to him. A bit of class that. | |

I think Ronald almost comes away with more credit for that than if heād scored himself. Vipotnik as well, busting a gut when he probably expected Ronald to shoot.
Plenty of times in the past heās shot from much worse positions with teammates better placed. There is an obvious togetherness around this squad.
I have no inside knowledge at all, but the fact that weāve moved certain players on with minimal fuss or fanfare alludes to Matos having no time for personalities that may disrupt. | | | |

For all the Ronald critisism and I am one who also like to highlight his faults. All credit to him for showing really passions and showing he has something to prove. He has always looked to feed Vipotnik and vice versa they work together. Has trying to play in a certain way hampered his best attributes. The same could be said of Tymon and Key, Tymon for the most part is playing a more defensive role but without a "wingers" out wide on the left he has pushed forward more and we have been caught out. Key is trying to prove a point given his position being questions, same with Ronald, it had a good effect on Vipotnik and he upped his game last season, maybe he needs get his head right does seem as if he is getting there again.
Changes have been made to accommodate new players or returning players. Three goals from quick counter attack yesterday, (Idah's ultra high press).a changed that means we are able to kill games off.
More than happy to have Ronald still with us trying to prove a point. | | | |

Im in the next block to the safe standing and didn't hear anything. Was a good substitution not just for the goal assist but you have to give Ronald credit for his defensive abilities works back well.

Matos is certainly a believer in team philosophy.
This is evident from the club video capturing his first day when he addressed all the staff at Fairwood catering folk included explaining how he saw them all as part of the team ....followed up by the video where he shares his manager of the month award with all the staff....chefs too...
I suspect this is why the likes of Walta may have been moved on....only time will tell but Matos certainly believes in a while team principle | |

Yes, Walta, along with Galbraith, was the player I was hinting at. Purely because in a football sense, signing him them loaning him out with an option to buy doesnāt make sense.
Inoussa I can understand more, as we have brought two wingers in plus Monga on loan. We havenāt really got the player Walta was built up to be.
Then again, he may just have watched Walta for a bit and made a football decision. | | | |

I'm on the halfway line more or less, upper east and I didn't hear booing so it can't have been many but regardless, thats's poor.
I'm not Ronalds biggest fan (putting it politely) but seeing how he played yesterday I was pleased, more for the team than Ronald because that's what heshould be doing. If he keeps doing that his stock can only rise and mayeb it'll shut the boo boys up.
With Idah too, I liked his workrate but he was a bit of a headless chicken but now he looks more focussed, is where he should be and not chasing oppo players down the wings and in our half leaving no one up front. His pressing led directly to his goal and it was superb work.
It's coming together, we're moving in the right direction so maybe that direction will cancel out any booing too. | | | |

Iām directly opposite you and didnāt hear it either. Must have been very localised.
The commitment and the work rate has always been there with Ronald. Defensively, heās our best winger.
Iām not convinced on him going forward, although he was a threat yesterday. Though going back to a recurring theme, in a team where both fullbacks are instructed to bomb on, having a winger who will dig in and do the dirty work on the bench probably isnāt a bad thing. | | | |
