He may try to go for another 0-0 to break the sequence of defeats. Given that most of our fit players are defenders, it might be the best tactic - my get people of Walsh’s back a bit too

Look at the squad and number of CB’s available. 5 at the back with madman RWB and RND or even Paul Smyth LWB, Jimmy, Cook and JCS play in the middle. Pragmatism with Ronnie in the midfield.
Sadly another defeat as I can’t see us scoring, does anyone know what the latest is on Obikwu? So long since we signed him as cover for Burrell I’m not even sure I’ve got his name right

I’m fast losing all interest as following the Rs is like Groundhog Day back in mid-table. A long way from the confident singing fans streaming out of LR after the Leicester game. I really did think we could be in for a great season. Even joked with my kids that we might have to come back in May for the playoff final as we walked back to White City. Ah well, 16th place it is again 😴
And to quote from their fan Lose The Brum, they lack a bit of leadership, character and suffer from a soft underbelly. Lack of battle-tested Championship nous in the squad probably plays a part, when it comes to away games.
I could understand the negativity if we were playing Brough again or a team fighting for a promotion/play off place or even a team in or near the bottom 3, as we believe we always do badly against those teams, but Birmingham have lost their last 3 and have nothing to play for.
It's not going to be a football feast, but we can definitely get something from this game...
Birmingham (A) tonight, followed by Leicester (A). Lose them both and its a 5 game losing streak. Difficult to be positive but a gut feeling tells me we'll get something from the next 2 games. I'm going to go with Hibs' prediction and say 1-1 with Vale to score for us.

cannot see anything bar a brum win, 3-0 may not be too bad but i think a 4-0 on cards based on boro, i injuries, lack of goals we score, tired legs, weak team, no fight gumption effort? lack lustre and in free fall (imo)
