Great, signs for a club in a country that has 54% higher alcohol related deaths than the rest of the UK!

this is the one time a move to the Qatari league might have actually helped a player's career

How absolutely marvellous ! Just down the road for me. I can’t wait to get down to Dens Park and give him a proper welcome.

Strong and stable my arse.

I've always thought of myself as a Christian but I'm finding it hard to wish him well, he seems to be such a nasty piece of work and I'm sure his agent is the same.

That's quite a drop in level. Amazing really.

You’re a nice guy Brian.

I immediately thought “phuck ‘im”.
He stretched any sympathy I had for him beyond limits.
For my own sanity’s sake I hope his career is over and he is not successful elsewhere.

QPR made him richer than he ever deserved to get whilst he did next to fck all to earn it. Good luck in fckin Dundee you waster.

I’d imagine The Scottish Herald are being primed for a puff piece any day now with references to demons, Sierra Leone, humility and gratitude for a last chance

Me, I’m looking for to 3 months time when they then start running bits on cheese going missing, commuters being assaulted at the mainline station and a Range Rover ending up in a ditch driven by a disqualified driver

He's someone else's problem now. I hope he sorts himself out though.

What's really amazing is that any pro club was prepared to offer him a contract.

This.

Sure, he must have signed at a massive discount, but the risk of failure is overwhelming. If he were to go for some kind of income protection policy (no, stop laughing, pretend he lives in a world where professional footballers don't get paid if they don't play) he'd have to be described as "uninsurable".

Hopefully he breaks both legs on his debut

And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles Brian Moore

Some of this sentiment is truly awful. Makes me feel very ashamed. Yes - he earns a lot at our expense, but really, do we have to be so absolutely spiteful and hateful. He may or may not be a wrong un. But some of these comments are absolutely reprehensible

Surely we're better than that?
