I agree he was the weakest attacking link of the team, as he is playing left wing and has no left foot. he only cuts inside and tries to cross with his right foot, which is far too one dimesnional. the one time he tried to cross with his let it was waek and cut out be the first defender. That is OK for free kicks, but against more acomplished defneders if we get deeper into the tournament, it wont work.
But I dont agree that this is Man U bias. Its more an indicationthat too many Premiership clubs buy foreign superstars rather than nuture home grown talent. ther wasnt much controversy around the 23 - and that there was seemed to be about Joe Hart, and lets be honest, that was a good decision! |  |
