I know, I was there. My second game. Last kick of the match. People were leaving and I asked my Dad why. He explained that they wanted to beat the traffic. I couldn't understand it, then they missed the winner and proved my point. Never left a game early since.

Which saved me from flouncing out at half-time in a huff when we were 0-4 down at home to Newcastle a few years later. Which proved my point again.

It's a good point.

Just for investigative reasons I blew it up and the ink had faded in the valley of sin so the P is invisible but luckily we can still see the Q and R clearly

Would be delighted to be proved wrong but i don't think there was, unless bbc news or itn news filmed it.
That weekend was the FACSemis so each channel showed one each and no league games. Shame those were the rules those days
