Would be delighted to be proved wrong but i don't think there was, unless bbc news or itn news filmed it.
That weekend was the FACSemis so each channel showed one each and no league games. Shame those were the rules those days

Hi all. Great thread. Does anyone remember a shot of Danny Maddix, in the influence kit (with same sponsor i think) , with the shirt ripped off just below the crest? you could see all his lower torso. He seemed quite fit!!

it was in a Match or Shoot magazine way back in the 90's. It was such a cool photo!
they used it in an advert for the next weeks magazine.

i have never been able to find it. Just hoping at this stage that someone might even remember it!!

I think 'In The Loft' used it as a cover for one issue with the tag line 'If only everything in life was as reliable as Danny Maddix!'
