We've moved up the table!

6 points off for the fakes, although they will probably be back above us soon.

We are staying up, say we are staying up.

Obviously we can enjoy chanting that until our inevitable defeat on Friday.

It's in our own hands now. And if we go down it will be totally our fault. There can be no excuses, FFP etc.

Does that make all their remaining games 'relegation 7.5 pointers'?

It's probably irrelevant to us as they still within two points of us and on current form would fully expect our boys to be behind Reading at the end of the season.

It has been in our own hands for months but look where that has got us.

I am all for getting it in other peoples hands!!

Their form isn't much better than ours. 2 points from 18 which has like us included a five goal humping.

Shame they're not playing us , we would definitely help them out with 3 points

We're now 18th and at the top of a group of 7 teams most in danger of relegation. Hull are 17th, 6 points above us.

I feel a tiny weeny bit more positive now.

With a draw suiting both sides. You can just see it. Both two points above us with a vastly superior goal difference.

It's great news.

1) Because Reading have been cheating for years,
2) Because we stopped cheating so I don't mind us profiting ahead of those that are, and
3) Because Ted will be happier.

If points per game over last 6 games are a good prediction of the next 7 or 8 games, Wigan, Blackpool and Reading will go down

Don't tell Ted that the Marshalls have sold their amplifier business though….although I'm sure he knows.

looking at things with my non QPR hat on, I think Blackpool and Wigan are gone (despite Charity Park Rangers doing their best to help them out). The really good news is we wont lose to any of the other contenders for relegation before this season is done (because we are not playing them)... Its much better to lose to West Brom or Norwich rather than say Huddersfield, or Reading.
So I suppose it comes down to 1 more down from QPR, Rotherham, Reading, Cardiff & Huddersfield.
Huddersfield have Warnock so they may as well order the champagne now. Cardiff and Reading are in a right old mess tho (probably more than QPR in some ways) and Rotherham have Hugill, Washington and Georgie Kelly trying to get the goals that would keep them up... (Maybe Dykes and Martin are not that bad after all?).
I personally think we are down but to non QPR folk out there its probably not as cut and dried???

We've gone up a place, but if Cardiff and Rotherham played their abandoned match tomorrow, no matter which way it went one of them would overtake us.

I'm going to treat the situation in the same way soldiers accepted death in Vietnam. QPR are down and anything else is a bonus.

The 'corpse twitches' - for about five seconds.

Nowhere near enough for us to be relevant. It needed Hudds to be -12, Reading's doubled at least and a sex scandal on Blackpool pleasure bleach meaning an immediate 20? pt deduction for the local football club. Don't ask me why or how.

Infact today's news only makes things worse - we're relegated despite the EFL throwing us 2 genuine lifelines of 9 pts across 2 direct rivals (Royals/Latics). Shocking.

well we are not in safe waters, we lose millions a month, have large debt and may be close ourselves to sanctions?
sad that qprfc have to rely on deductions to stay up rather than find 6 pts from 6 games?
i'll take anything that helps us whether we have to cheat, steal or do whatever to stay up.
balls to reading!

On the plus side, unlike Wigan, we won't be in a position to gift those six points straight back to Reading.

Got to look to push on from this win. Thought GA got everything right today: team selection; subs; tactics; and his in-game management was superb.
